  1. It already feels like America is in slow collapse and I'm curious to see if this event could spark something. At the least it could get the conversation on class wars going. I personally think Luigi will go down as an American folk hero but that's just me.
  2. I was looking for a thread here yesterday. I stand with him and not just because he's exactly my type. To me, the story here isn't the murder but the general reaction by American's from all sides of the aisle. Everyone from liberals to conservatives to your aunt Karen's on Facebook are cheering that CEO's death. Kind of wild.
  3. Lana's version of country has the potential to be extremely unique but I'm going to need to hear more snippets other than Henry.
  4. I want worldbuildingI want theatricsI want cinemaI want thought provoking storytelling
  5. I won’t go deep into it here but mostly the production feels too simplistic, lyrics are overly sentimental and surface-level, leaning into cliches rather than introspective, poetic storytelling. I don’t love the majority of her collabs so Jack being on the song doesn’t help. I know she literally says it’s a simple song but I can’t connect with it like others seem to. It gives me major live laugh love vibes.
  6. My biggest fear around this album is it will be a bunch of Margaret’s back to back
  7. I don’t follow or keep up with either of them but she just seems so so so miserable. She has scathing advice for everyone but can’t put out music to save her life. She has no career or real relevancy outside of 212 and being an internet troll I don’t get it.
  8. My takeaway from her speech isn’t that she’s “acting like” she was a nobody, making dud albums before meeting Jack. The night was about celebrating Jack and his work, and she shared personal insight into how he has influenced her both personally and professionally. It’s not a stretch to say he gave her a major confidence boost and injected her career with the energy it needed. Lust for Life marked a turning point with critics, but their collaboration on NFR elevated her career to an entirely new level. I think it’s great that she’s had longstanding creative relationships with different producers over time. Rick was obviously a major influence, and Jack, too, has left a significant mark. As she continues to evolve, I’m sure there will be more collaborators who help her bring her stories to life.
  9. The only way we’ll get news about the album from this event is if she does press interviews. I’d be surprised if she talked about it during her speech, feels kind of tacky.
  10. This look is so chic. Sophisticated New York writer with an old Hollywood twist (her hair). I love it so much.
  11. She could shut some people up if she posted a clip driving her car, leg on the wheel, bumping to the Fenway Park intro
  12. I'm going to be greedy: first single before Christmas Second single on Vday with a music videoThird single + pre-order + music video in April around her Stagecoach performance She has given herself and the team 6+ months to plan a big rollout, let's put that Coachella coin to work, Lanita
  13. Realizing we have to suffer through 4 months of fake track lists why Lana why
  14. The cover better be swampy and it better cost a lot of coin to make.
