  1. "I'm entering a new era. It has to do with living in Oklahoma and feeling different. My eyes have seen so much open space, I've felt the wind, and that's the kind of energy I want to talk about now." It’s refreshing to hear her say this after months of hinting at a major shift. It feels almost like she's leaving Hollywood behind—not retiring or leaving LA entirely, but that her music might start reflecting a different, even more grounded perspective. There was a clear leap between LFL and NFR—a new chapter of self-possessed lyrics, at times a more positive outlook and deeply introspective lyrics that carried through COCC, BB and Tunnel. Now, as she says she's done with the ultra-personal, I can’t wait to see where this new direction takes her.
  2. Amazing photoshoot, amazing interview I'm actually very glad she's pushing pause on the next album because the vibes around it have been off. We can now look forward to something completely fresh, something southern gothic inspired in 2025 and never utter that cursed L word again
  3. Imaginal Disc (entire album) and Aquamarine by Mizz Rae has been on repeat
  4. I think it was Popinsider on twitter who said back in the summer that Lana would be filming a music video in the fall. Could have been a lucky guess or maybe they have some sources. I just searched their tweets though and they’ve deleted anything mentioning Lana I’m sure these shoots are booked months in advance to work with everyone’s schedule. Hollywood basically shuts down the week before Thanksgiving through the new year so maybe this is one last thing to check off before end of year.
  5. Here’s my delulu theory: there was a shift around January or February this year. Before this, she seemed to have some stripped-back, country/Americana songs ready—subdued, simpler tracks. “Henry” might be one of these. But after the shift, possibly triggered by the Grammy snub, her perspective changed. I’m holding out hope that this is where “Has Anyone Else Died For You?” came to life. The Fenway intro could also reflect this shift, with its southern gothic tone fitting the new direction. If she’s writing about being “crucified” so others can succeed, it suggests something more layered than the “simpler, Americana songs” she mentioned last year. It’s likely she now has a mix of tracks that don’t yet form a cohesive album, and she’s still working through the creative process.
  6. At this point, the vibes around this album are very strange. Kind of hope whatever comes next has a new name, 0 country vibes and is totally fresh. Lana seems so unenthused by it herself.
  7. It feels like she was chasing a bit of a trend with the country phase, but she’s clearly moved past it now. She—and maybe a lot of the entertainment industry—seemed to be anticipating a big wave of country music influence taking over pop culture. Cowboy Carter was a great project and made an impact, but while some other artists jumped on the country bandwagon, I don’t think it ever blew up the way people expected. Maybe that’s just mye being in my own bubble, though. IF Pantene is right about the secret project I hope it’s an unreleased album with songs that never leaked over the years
  8. This is so unexpected in the best way. Glad to see she’s not gone off grid completely since the we**ing
  9. There is allegedly a video of Trump groping a minor at a recent donors party coming out very soon. The story is circulating online. Unfortunately, I don’t think this would move his base but it could help sway moderates. Such a pig.
  10. I honestly think she was just trying to appease us with that random Vogue write-up. Fans and reporters have been asking her about Lasso for months, and almost every music site was buzzing about her going country. With the release date looming, she had to say something. Maybe there are some random singles tied to a TV show or movie, but I don’t believe any actual singles from the next album are dropping until next year. In my headcanon, she panicked and threw out a mention of two singles—likely just the Tough remixes—to calm everyone down The Vogue article said the singles were coming "very soon" and that was exactly 62 days ago today.
  11. The LQ leak of Zodiac was a psyop by Lana to test the waters on an official release. The overwhelming support convinced her to drop snoozefest Henry and make a dark, southern gothic album full of Zodiacs, Fishtails, Candy Necklaces, The Blackest Days, God Knows I Tried and I Talk to Jesus
  12. Didn't even strike me as a possibility Manifesting she hasn't removed all of the interesting production and updated the lyrics to be about gators and swamp boat tour guides
  13. Zodiac has been my favorite Lana moment of 2024 so an official release would be phenomenal. I wouldn't even give Lasso another thought, TBH. Not really sure how that rollout looks, though. "Here's a song about the Long Island serial killer victims just cuz"
  14. Wow three years has flown by. I remember being SO happy with the cover art after the trauma Chemtrails caused. The title track has definitely earned a spot in my top 10 Lana songs. It took a minute for it to fully hit me, but once it did - wow The storytelling, the subtle production, and those delicate piano notes during "green and grey" get me every time. I love how the piano sounds like a faint siren or plane going down—so subtle, yet so haunting. For me, I return to Text Book, Blue Banisters, Arcadia, Black Bathing Suit, Wildflower Wildfire, and Sweet Carolina the most. I'm not counting the unreleased tracks - I played them to hell and back before the album dropped. This album also has some of my least favorite Lana songs - Beautiful and Violets for Roses are....something. And there is something so corny about If You Lie Down With Me which is sad because it's an outtakes from my favorite Lana album. I want to like it. I've tried. But it makes me feel like a train robber when I listen to it. I would love to hear the UV version. To me, I see this album as more of a mixtape. It makes for a great fall playlist when the season starts changing and I want some cozy background vibes.
  15. I'm glad we can all agree things seem off. It's so strange because she was peaking Q1 and Q2 of this year. I would love to know what is going on BTS.
  16. A new snippet posted to IG could take us from 0 to 100 in seconds, Lana
  17. Definitely but of an album cover shoot? I don’t remember any teases from the last few albums.
  18. I could be wrong but I don’t think Lana or any of her people have ever shared a story or post from behind the scenes of a cover shoot before it was officially revealed, right? If this is in fact for Lana it’s probably a photoshoot or music video. Big if. It feels like this album is dead in the water currently.
  19. What insider teased something coming end of October? They said it was non-Lasso related. Pantene?
