It's just speculation that's been going around here too since it's not too far reached. So far Lana's team has confirmed nothing, although a preorder (and a possible promo track to go along with it) coming sometime this week is realistic if they're following the 1-month pattern. Apparently some big Polish retailer said so in a private Facebook chat, but no receipts have been shown. Someone from here (sorry I can't remember who you are rn) messaged them but they didn't mention any changes in their response, at least not any with the cover. So take it with a grain of salt.

this is more likely than actually getting a 3rd single I guess Girl needs to drop the preorder, tracklist, format info etc tomorrow. Didn't they do it with Honeymoon on a Friday too? My hope is definitely not dead at least yet but I've already had enough of the boredom this era, if not else we should get at least a new article on her with some new track information or something like that. I don't necessarily need another photoshoot but it would be nice if we had something concrete to talk about for a couple of days, if you know what I mean. An alternative option is dropping one of her homemade videos for a new song and an official release to go with it. She dropped the audio video for Honeymoon long before it was announced to be a promo single so they could at least do that. Though at this point the most realistic chance of getting a new track would be instant download when you preorder the album on iTunes or such. I'm really hoping for one

I'm definitely limiting myself with Love and Lust for Life as well, I've already listened to them a lot and I'm sort of trying to avoid them now, especially having them on repeat. Thank god Lana has a lot of music to listen to meanwhile waiting for July, and Melodrama is kinda keeping me busy at the moment as well.

But if it sucks and it's on her album, I'll just keep forcing myself to listen to it and be reminded of its existence when I listen to the record in full.

If my record store is really putting the preorder up on Tuesday (20th)... they've never had it exactly on the same date when an album has been "properly" announced, so IF it's depending on an official preorder like back in the past, we could get it on Friday or Monday. Hmm

Daisy Chains definitely has the most potential of being a single, considering it would not only reach Lana's fans and listeners but A$AP and Playboi Carti's as well. With Weeknd they were somewhat playing it safe, but A$AP and Playboi could gain some more attention and interest since Lana hasn't collaborated with any rap artists yet, and the collaboration is quite unexpected - in Weeknd's case people had already heard them together, first on Prisoner and Stargirl later. From what I can make out of the snippet, Daisy Chains could have the right sound to make it at least a bit more viral than LFL. I obviously can't say that for sure though. If they're not releasing Daisy Chains, Cherry would be next on the potential list. Change seems like it's the perfect example of how the general public think Lana's music sounds like, which you know is more negative than positive. So basically they would be stabbing themselves if they decided to do it - it could pass as a promo single but not as an official one. The same sort of goes for White Mustang based on the snippet, it's a slow simple one and the assumed chorus has some beats. Meanwhile Cherry has already been performed live and so far seems to have more instruments than the two mentioned, and is basically a classic Lana track that could get better treatment from the GP than a slower one.
