LMFAO stfu omg I totally forgot about 7 days holiday! I can't imagine Taxi being a disappointment like TKO, I'd roll up and die. But yeah I feel like listening to recordings of those songs being played in a club is truest to their nature.
-
It's like we have tunnel vision and all we can see are the exchange songs, and then we spam this thread with endless "omg another day and x, x, and x haven't leaked" comments. Imagine if we directed that energy towards Charli? She'd probably get annoyed but we might get a definitive answer on the future of these songs. Yeah she said they'll never be released but it's been a while since she said that and we all know she's the queen of changing her mind. I feel like the petition should mention the idea of an Exchange EP on Vroom Vroom Records

(slashed the "RT" towards cybiko bc it's... cybiko) Just signal boosting this because not enough people liked it I know we've sort of taken a cynical view towards the XCX3 we'd all hoped for, and as each day goes on it feels less and less likely that we'll get the album of our dreams, but can y'all take a fucking minute to step back and realize what you're asking for when you beg for a song to leak that has potential to be released, even if it seems impossible? https://www.change.org/p/charolotte-convince-charli-xcx-to-release-the-songs-with-sophie-played-at-the-exchange-in-la how about instead of begging for leaks like dogs, we sign this petition and spam Charli with it on twitter or something?

Are there two versions of Losing My Cool? http://picosong.com/wym5m I know this one is probably pitched up but the first "losing my losing my" echo bounces to the left earbud and the original doesn't do that on any of the I'm still bopping to the original though, I love when Charli does this style
-
wow I was so hyped just a couple minutes ago whilst opening the Losin' My Cool link and now I'm gonna go cry LMAO I love being made into a bipolar mess

Not In Love really gets me SO hyped up! I love when she does upbeat songs like that
-
Didn't she say she would be doing a lot of writing and spending time in the studio?
-
currently listening to Camila's debut album and being bitter about Scar Tissues being scrapped All Charli got with Camila is a flop scrapped single (OMG)... but I guess that's the ATAP curse doing it's work
-
you're either an insecure twink or a burly closet-case with the way you talk about your fellow gays either way, you still have terrible taste and that's that!
-
whoever said Taxi is generic and "katy perry/kesha" sounding... ya mom's a hoe! but let's not act like katy and kesha didn't have some bops in their prime
-
loving the gif reactions

I've seen a couple meme videos with Vroom Vroom on them recently, and there are always some people in the comments asking what song it is. There's a chance they might get snatched up by the bigger meme pages. I think we have a viral hit song in the works!

How Can I is dreadful but Lock You Up is cute

Shameless played Superlove in an episode according to Tunefind! A couple of my friends were begging me to watch the show but I wasn't convinced until I saw that it has good taste in music
-
I love this performance! Imagine if she was vocally trained?

Someone posted this ugly version of Blame It On Ur Luv http://picosong.com/wRzMS/ It sounds like something Dua Lipa would release as a single

This isn't that different from what I said. Superlove + Punk = Sucker. I wasn't aware of the overlap though (Breaking Up being filmed shortly after Superlove and Doing It being written at the same time as the punk album), but what difference does the overlap make to you? Is your theory that Sucker was reworked because of the change from Superlove to Boom Clap as the lead single? If Breaking Up was filmed shortly after Superlove... Breaking Up is pretty punk/rock and that means that we never would've had a Superlove sounding album anyways. My whole argument is that Sucker wasn't a different album before the delay.

Charli XCX is also furiously honing her stage show, after scoring a spot on Coldplay's 2012 tour alongside fellow opener Santigold. The singer hopes to kick off a proper headlining tour in the States sometime in the next two months, and plans on being at South by Southwest in March. "I'm working like a crazy bitch on my show at the moment, because I want it to be fucking amazing," says Charli XCX. "I'm basically making a music video of every song … we're going to use all these film samples from my favorite films, like 'The Craft,' 'Clueless' and 'Carrie.' So it's going to be incredible." I miss this side of her. She was so creative and and I feel like she would just collect little internet gifs from her favorite movies with so much zeal and think about how it would look in a headline tour Her only headline tours are Sucker tours, and we all know how that went Imagine a Charli XCX headline tour now? Ok let me dream one up, this is the first show of her tour, and it's in Los Angeles, California. The tour's name is The Angel Tour. The show begins with Grins. The dreamy synths bounce across the stage in the dark until Charli emerges out of a cloud of fog backed by pulsing purple and blue lights. This is her look. The entire True Romance section is unreal. The order is Grins, Nuclear Seasons, What I Like, Black Roses, Lock You Up, and Take My Hand. Charli sings "I'm in your hand" the fog rushes throughout the stage and the light dims, and the bass booms throughout the arena and the synths continue in an extended arrangement to fade out as a closer. The fog clears as the synths fade away. Break The Rules, Sucker, Boom Clap, and Explode play as an interlude Charli comes back out in her her 2014 AMA's outfit with the red sunglasses, skipping her way to the microphone to the blaring guitars of Famous. The stage lights are pink. WE GOT ONE NIGHT, AND WE'RE GONNA COME AND GET IT STARTED, NOW WE'RE FALLING DOWN THE STAIRS WE ACT SO SHAMELESS, JUST LIKE WE'RE FAMOUS, WOOO-OH! She then plays Breaking Up, Doing It, Body Of My Own, So Over You, and Caught In The Middle. Then, she leaves the stage for 5 minutes as Kingdom plays and comes back out in this outfit with the stage lights covering the stage in same the shade of purple as in the picture to close the era with the forever iconic Need Ur Luv. "Don't you come and get me baby" echoes throughout the arena before the stage goes black. Red Balloon plays as interlude LMFAO jk idk what to put here She comes back out to the beat of Trophy in this outfit and performs the Vroom Vroom EP. The lights are dark purple with white flashes on the ground. "Pull up, pull out the tangerine dreams" she sings. 1 Night plays as interlude Then, the Number 1 Angel era arrives. The stage lights go red while 3AM begins. "UHHHH TA-TA-OOH, YOUR LOVE!" Wigs fly off everyone's heads and the stage is covered in wigs. It doesn't matter if you weren't wearing a wig, a wig flew off your head. She performs 3AM, Roll With Me, Emotional, ILY2, White Roses, Babygirl, and then brings out Cupcakke for Lipgloss. A megamix of the Exchange songs plays as the gays are salivating. A.G. and Sophie have somehow arranged it so that it's a blur of the songs all mashed up together, only giving glimpses of ahead. She steps out in the Exchange outfit - the red latex two piece, red HFA bomber jacket and red visor - as Taxi comes on. Everyone loses it. C'MON, HEY, HEY, C'MON HEY, HEY... GET IN! Taxi is followed by No Angel, Round & Round, Up & Down, and finally, TKO. A megamix of XCX3 plays. Everyone gets to hear what XCX3 will sound like, and it's amazing. The stage slowly lights up with bright white lights as Charli gracefully makes her way towards the microphone in an elegant pillowy white ball gown with a plume of feathers on her upper back. She looks like an angel, which would fit the name of the tour. "Hi everyone!" The crowd roars. "I hope you all enjoyed the show as much as I did, I wanted to thank you all for supporting me throughout this third album ordeal. XCX3 will be released on the day of the final show." She blows the crowd a kiss and as begins to walk off the stage, the bottom half of the gown glows white. She's almost made it off the stage when A.G. accidentally plays "Sticky HQ." The crowd gasps and holds their breath in silence as the words "want you to lick it lick it, poot it in me poot it in me make it sticky sticky" play. Charli yells "NOW I'M GONNA HAVE TO KICK YOUR TEETH IN!" and proceeds to beat his ass with a mix of martial arts including karate, judo, and kickboxing. She leaves A.G. lying unconscious on the floor.

The delay theory doesn't add up for me. You're telling me that throughout the entire process of making Sucker, the last couple months was enough to change the entire course of the album? Sucker was a culmination of Charli's frustration. Superlove predates all of that. Then the frustration created the punk album. After letting her frustration out, she came back to Pop and the result was Pop-Punk album Sucker. There's no way that Sucker would've sounded like Superlove with the Punk album being created. The change in sound wasn't a result of the Boom Clap delay. There are parts of the process of deciding on a release date for a major record label album that we know nothing about, and I doubt it's as simple as "striking while the iron is hot." he didn't mention Porsche? Thanks for saving me time I would've wasted on watching that review!

Superlove was actually the first Charli song I fell in love with! I'm pretty sure I had seen her perform Fancy on Dancing With The Stars beforehand (I thought she sounded like shit and really disliked her) but her name never stuck with me. I was listening to a radio based on something by Ryn Weaver (probably Octahate but her debut album was one of my 2015 summer albums) and Superlove came on! I was like holy shit this is amazing! I decided to look into her other music and I've been a fan ever since

I actually found an interview about this a few days ago! Here's the post I made about it I'm pretty sure there was a change in direction :/ which is a shame because Superlove really is a bop Some people on here tend to think it was a record label manipulation, like if they made her scrap her old album, but Charli's always maintained that she will always have a say in the direction her music goes, and that it's not a product of her record label. The only thing I can think of that could've changed her sound so drastically is the frustration that came with her success leading to the punk album she made in Sweden with Patrik Berger. There's also her frequent mention of "french ye-ye pop" and artists like France Gal and Brigitte Bardot but I haven't listened to their music enough to judge how it could've impacted the rework of Sucker, and I also don't have enough of a grasp on the timeline of events to have an informed opinion. The unexpected success of Boom Clap, according to Charli, is why Sucker was delayed a couple months but I don't understand that. That seems to be why people say "the label made her redo Sucker to fit their agenda!!!1!1!" but that theory doesn't sit well with the fact that the Punk album happened before the delay. EDIT: I just found an interview that affirms what I said about the punk album “It morphed into a new thing,” she reveals. “There are elements of punk on this pop record that I’m making. A couple of songs that were originally on that punk record are on the album. I want to release an EP of the super punk shit that I did. It hasn’t gone away completely or anything, and I transferred a lot of it over to the main record.” EDIT #2: I was making a punk album! I was over the music industry, I was over all of it. And I went to Sweden and made a punk album,” she recently told Pop Justice. But now, “I’ve made a pop record. I think it’ll be completely finished by the end of July, I’m not doing any more writing sessions now.” She listed the collaborators on the pop project — “Weezer, Rostam from Vampire Weekend, Stargate, John Hill… I did a session with [Dr.] Luke but that wasn’t for me” — and affirmed that she hopes to release the album she made in Sweden later on. So, maybe we’ll get two, allegedly very different Charli XCX albums this year? source Now I see why everyone wants the punk songs, she said she hoped to release the punk album, then said she wants to release an EP, and then never mentioned the punk songs again. I really want more demos from the sucker era to leak (things like Girls Thinking Bout Boys, Light It Up, etc. she has SO many gems we haven't heard!)

if I had high blood pressure, Taxi would give me a heart attack please shelter the elderly on the day it leaks
