  1. Say You Do and Baby are so fucking good those thigh high red PVC boots are killer!
  2. I remember loving "The Fool" (it was the album of summer 2015 for me) and then being SO excited to see the original version of the "Octahate" music video playing on a HUGE screen in the electronics department of Target. I was so proud
  3. the possibility of stanning her was nonexistent after her now deleted "I DON'T FUCK WITH BROKE FUCKBOYS" instagram caption and after I realized she's a proud misandrist whilst at the same time a "feminist". What an incompetent little brat.
  4. I hope she does something new on ladywood pt.2 because ladywood bored me to death and I really, really liked her previous work. Disco tits is catchy but I feel like she's just trying to be a provocateur with her music and it's trashy
  5. lemonade mouth was a career highlight
  6. I remember when she had 3k instagram followers and her only official track was "Ocean Eyes" and I was totally on board but then I came across her twitter not too long ago and it was a total cringefest
  7. Sad for you and Baggage are my favorites but I feel like the production is what makes up most of the appeal.
  8. do you enjoy being like this
  9. that was a discord track btw did anyone get around to separating the discord tracks?
  10. I feel like I've aired most of my laundry with my excessive ranting so I'm gonna try and keep things somewhat short from now on and post relevant thoughts instead of complaining (unless anyone feels like it actually contributes to the discourse) because I feel like I'm getting repetitive and annoying!!
  11. Need Ur Luv and Famous (and light it up) said hello didn't the insider also say there's a mixtape due in October with dua and camila collabs? ugh... just like that cunt a few pages back who was all "I hAvE tKo bUt i'M nOt lEaKiNg iT"
  12. I'm reading up on interviews and making connections between things and I'm feeling v overwhelmed/fascinated/devastated at the expanse and trajectory of Charli's career. It's all so intricate.
  13. https://www.exposedlyrics.com/Charli-XCX/champion-lyrics-9.html did it leak in full??
  14. Pop girls aren't going anywhere, it's the pop girls that innovate that are doomed. A lot of the major pop girls don't come across as genuine at all. They seem like they only serve to cater to what's hot at the moment; and I get it, pop has to sell to be popular, but it's the artistry that's lacking. That's what frustrates me the most, because although Sucker wasn't that great of an album, it was still a reinvention of Charli's sound. A complete 180 and the other pop girls can't relate. While everyone else is waiting to jump on the new "it" sound and suck the life out of it, Charli's always experimenting, and her label just doesn't get it. Her talent is being wasted on trying to break through into commercial stardom with bland singles when she has so much more to offer and the reality is, most people don't have an ear for xcxcellent pop music. She has her niche and her label needs to let her flourish instead of holding her back.
  15. it's a fake demi lovato meet and greet twitter story, just search "delete it fat" on google images. I typed it out as a Charli M&G story bc it's an iconic piece of literature and it just felt right bc of all the fan meetups Charli's been doing!
  16. what if her label thought it would be a good idea to postpone it until 2018 because by then she'll have supported Halsey and Sia - getting her name out there? just a thought
  17. ^ and that's that on that!
  18. I met @@charli_xcx recently, my name is madison (@dinahbgc) and this is my M&G story. I met her October 20th of this year and it was horrific. She was rude, not classy, and she lost a long time angel that day. I walked into the $350 M&G and said hello and she replied with "fat" and I shook it off because I thought maybe I had heard her wrong. As I approached her and asked her to do my pose she stared at me blank faced. I continued talking. "You saved my life" I say. "You're the reason I'm alive today." She looks me dead in the eye and says "you'll die soon enough, fatty," and then whispered "obesity." I started crying I had never felt pain like this and she started laughing and said "are you crying? Stop it. Stop it now." and she flicked my vagina. The photographer took the picture and I headed out of the M&G section and that's when Charli started speaking whale to me. I still can't believe this happened. I cried writing this. I wish this weren't true but Charli is in fact; a horrible person.
  19. "I've always done most of it myself and that's partly why everything has taken so long," she continues. "I didn't have the support of my record label in the UK because they just didn't get it... ever. And they still don't sometimes. When they heard Sucker, someone at my label said, 'Your album's great, but wouldn't it be better if Wiz Khalifa was on a verse?' I was just like... NO." *wiz khalifa is in the boys music video* "In the past 10 years, why do people feel like musicians have to be boring to succeed, and why do people have to be likable? It's just lame!" she says. Her voice climbs to a new octave and she sits forward in her seat. "It's so boring. You can't like everything! You hate some stuff! Say what you hate! Like, I hate Pitbull, and I don't care! He's shit! And that's fine! He may hate my stuff, and I'm cool with that!" Perhaps unsurprisingly, Charli's label sent her to media training; afterward, her instructor told execs that, in all of her years, she had never encountered a worse pupil. "I was like, 'What the fuck did I do wrong?' " says Charli. Interviewer: What makes a perfect party? Charli XCX: Fun people who love to dance and the best DJ playing amazing songs, e.g. Macarena/LMFAO/Pitbull, etc queen of changing opinions "they just didn't get it... ever. And they still don't sometimes." 3 years later they still don't get it
  20. I'm wondering about Warner's involvement with XCX3 bc of how they just recently copyrighted a few Exchange performances (see my post 2 pages ago)
  21. I have no idea. A while back, someone speculated that the list of songs we've been warned not to link in this thread might be the tracks that'll get officially released but who knows :/
  22. You have no idea what you're talking about. Have you heard about Iggy's delay situation? Her label told her June 2nd and then told her June 30th and she stated that as the release date for her 2nd album in interviews and then her label fucked her over and stalled it. Should she have kept her mouth shut just because it ended up being delayed? XCX3 was scheduled to be released in May. That was the plan and when it was delayed until September Charli was visibly upset. It obviously wasn't her choice. You act like she knew it would be delayed/wanted it to be delayed twice. And now she has to pretend it's "just a release schedule, it's not delayed" as damage control even though she's BEEN lowkey shading her label for quite some time now. Also, on your "release your shit MIA style and take agency" comment, record deal contracts are legally binding. If I remember correctly Charli signed a development deal at around 16 years old and if her deal was based on the # of albums, they could easily bring her career to a standstill if she threatened to leak it (which she already kinda did earlier this year) or didn't cooperate with whatever their shitty vision is.
  23. I only have audio, not video, I'll pm them to you if you want
  24. Warner Music Group has taken down live videos of Taxi, Daddy Knows, and TKO on "copyright grounds" I fucking hate them
