Moon River

The album is such a grower. I mean I've liked it from the start but now that I've had more time with it I'm completely obsessed. It's easy to write it off as superficial and fluffy but in fact a lot of these songs are very tongue in cheek if you read between the lines (especially paired with the cultish visuals she's been serving). PS: Whoever said she forgot how to write good melodies needs to get their ears checked because this record contains some of her strongest yet. Just my two cents.

I'm living for the Ray of Light/All Saints/William Orbit vibes she's serving on The Path. I'm a huge fan of the record's early 2000s flourishes in general, they're refreshing and comforting at once.

I think the album is pretty nice, I really like the mellow summer vibes and the hazy production throughout. A few more poppy songs like Mood Ring would have been cool but it is what it is. Big Star is a career highlight. My deluxe vinyl looks spectacular. I'm already really excited to see how all of this is going to translate to a live show.

Bartender, Dark But Just a Game and Bel Air are god-tier, upper echelon career highlights.

There's no way Out Out is not going to smash. I fear it might even overshadow Good Ones, in Europe at least.

This album was pretty much dead on arrival huh. Venus Fly Trap had a bit of a moment and there was that virtual concert but then… nothing.
