omg I ordered the bundle and the personalised CXI + II vinyl and I guess I can finally tell my full M&G story now. I met her during the CollXtion II Tour in 2017, and asked her if she could write my favourite lyric on a piece of paper. I told her that I didn't know if it was allowed, but that my favourite song was Sculpture and she said something like "oh yeah the song we all know exists but pretend to ignore". she wrote "who will love me when the night is over", signed it and gave it to me, and asked me not to tell anyone because if not other gays would ask her to acknowledge unreleased material. which I don't get because she's the one who leaked it and also she gets harassed all the time dd

the PHI Center show is FINALLY up in 1080p I remember staying up late waiting for the show to be live streamed on the actual date, but it was only weird computer backgrounds and shit.. ahh the memories

the delay didn't really have to do with waiting until the pandemic blows over, it was always about re-planning the era because they had to throw away all the promo they had planned

I mean, yes? almost the entirety of CXI was all over YouTube even before the release date got pushed back we had that really shitty LQ rip of CXII for months, and they clearly didn’t want it to spread since people (or the gay?) from her team were asking fans at every show to not leak it (which kind of worked) + iirc Allie tweeted about it SS leaked, but we had heard practically all of it. Also the mess with her team sending the PSD files of the Analog cover with the full master copy before release and even if CG hasn’t leaked yet, we got DIK weeks ago and full album info and track list before the announcement. so as far as her messes go, the fact that we haven’t heard more than what she put out is a miracle

I had a folder on my hard rive with all the video backdrops and footage filmed for Phi Center but it got wiped and I lost everything

I'm going to meet her again hopefully it will be as iconic as the first time basically Allie was playing with her shadow and they spun around so fast that they got separated from each other, and Allie ended up in the shadow world and her shadow in the real world, which ties to the whole X thing about finding yourself. It's also why in all the gifs Allie is spinning. Each CollXtion continues the story and is tied thematically to a new chapter of the Story of X this would have been such a cool storyline for a Monster Ball-esque arena world tour whew
