you know what would have been iconic is releasing an album 8 years ago what reason other than the number 10 do you have to believe it will come out in 2023? like at least last year she was actually pushing a single to prove the album was coming but it still led nowhere and that was the second time, mind you. this woman has parasocially abused me like she could release descending and drop a masochism preorder tomorrow and i would be questioning my reality and expecting her to pull the link or something lol. if the album goes live then it's a welcome surprise but until then everybody needs to stop setting themselves up for disappointment. or i mean you do you i guess but that's my opinion on the matter. at most you could hope for a night time my time vinyl repress which capitol would make her pay for (which is to say it would never happen). realistically you are going to get an anniversary post on instagram circulate and leak all my lovers die in that order

it's still giving dog ate my homework. like petra collins who allegedly worked on the video just decided to hoard it and prevent its release for what reason? and then to post clips of it or whatever (where? i would like to see it) and poke holes in her own story? okay. there's no receipts for this anywhere as far as i'm aware i've said this before but capitol not funding masochism production is something i could believe because they didn't for ntmt either but sky herself has provided a lot of mixed messages with regard to this. she's repeatedly posted clips of songs that she has implied are ready for release and said she wants to put them out. she's also said she's still writing which is obviously not indicative of a finished product. neither of these explanations suggest that the reason for the holdup is because capitol won't support her financially. consider that in a decade pretty much the entirety of the album has leaked and the majority of the songs are not even close to being finished. the songs that are finished have been released. if she hasn't turned the material in then that's out of the label's control. like is she really doing her job? we only have her word to go on and she's consistently contradicting herself. i don't doubt for a second that capitol sucks and has made things extremely difficult for her but there's so much reason to believe she's just making excuses

i've given up on the album mainly because there isn't one but my 2023 10 year ntmt anniversary dream release is a single/ep, just 3 tracks because that's presumably what she has finished and it seems low stakes enough to potentially happen even though it won't 01. descending 02. pray for rain 03. all my lovers die
