    So I am in love with the new music video(s), I don't know if it's been mentioned but is The Greatest video a homage to Video Games? Like she's singing in an old bar, playing pool and wild darts? Also whilst she's playing pool they focus on the lucky 8 ball, it's been 8 years since she debuted with Video Games.

     

    Also, since the new merch has been released does this confirm that poppies are the flower for this era? The majority of the merch has the red flower pattern and the headscarf refers to it as "poppies"?

    Honestly yeah. The most carefree flower there is to represent this era..perfect

     

    Also, side note: why the fuck is her youtube channel still on that Doin' time branding lmao, change it with the album cover sis

    “she will be on this show next tuesady night. so i spoke to her and that’s just a little bit of what was said. loads more talk about the full album norman rockwell which is dropping on the 30th of august. and you’re gonna hear all of it on the show next tuesday night.”

     

     

    by “all of it” i’m pretty she means the “loads more talk” about the album

    That's definetly right. They won't play an entire album on a radio show lol. Plus, tuesday it's the 27th and the album comes on the 30th, they can't play the whole thing so publicly 3 days before it drops

     

    I'm thinking she's either just gonna talk about the album in a longer interview; maybe she's gonna adress The greatest too on tuesday; or maybe she's roguely dropping the audio of the title track that day and it'll have another premier with an interview

    The video is so beautiful :wowcry: I absolutely looove all the beach, surf, coast, boat, fair shots. Just gorgeous. And I fucking love what Rich did with the effects and the auroras at the beach (even though some people said it looks weird)

    Every time she smiles and sings into the mic and just runs around... It gets me :defeated:

    Can't wait for this fucking album, it's coming next week holy fuck :deadbanana:

    It was weird how that actual title came to me. I was riffing over a couple of chords that Jack was playing for the title track, which ended up being called “Norman Fucking Rockwell.” It was kind of an exclamation mark: so this is the American dream, right now. This is where we’re at—Norman fucking Rockwell.

     

    She mentioned the exclamation mark right from the start. Why are you guys surprised? the album title is itself an exclamation, so why wouldn't it have the mark at the end?
