  1. If there was a new a alboom, she or her team would have said something by now.
  2. People are delusional here as always, let me break it down for y'all once and for all time. Mods, pls thank me for this. UV was her artistic peak and will most likely forever be. BTD was not as artistic as UV, but had by a LONG SHOT the best melodies and most memorable moments. HM was just there. Sirens is horrible by the way. AKA was pretty amazing, but not as great as UV and BTD.
  3. And now all together: Are you brave enough to let me see your peacock? What'ch'you waiting for? It's time for you to show it off Don't be a shy kind of guy, I'll bet it's beautiful Come on, baby, let me see What'ch'you hiding underneath
  4. What's up your sleeve, such a tease, wanna see the show In 3-D, a movie Heard it's beautiful A song
  5. Word on the street, you got something to show me, me Magical, colorful, myster-mystery I'm intrigued for a peak Heard it's fascinating
  6. I doubt this is true. If there is an album coming in November, where the hell is the lead single? Lana would never release without a lead and no teasing
  7. Lol. Everybody throws the word "subversive" here around when (just in case this new album rumour is real) it probably means "sweet" or "sunday" or "sun".
  8. More than that actually, but at least she got new fans that were not so much into BTD, It didn't entirely help, but at least prevented UV from bombing. Well, you better tell me: from 6 million to under 700k within 3 years.
  9. Video Games and Summertimes Sadness however were the undeniable smash hits on the album. Off To The Races could have been a nice fourth single or Radio would have even been better. Video Games was the right choice for the lead for BTD. Paradise? Idk, the EP is not very good anyway, but Ride was probably the right choice. UV: Brooklyn Baby with a shorter edit. HM: High By The Beach was the only option. Except for Salvatore there ain't a another potential hit on the record. The latter she and her label have completly ignored.
  10. The amount what an artist gets from streaming is also determined by the contract they sign with their label. Different artists get different amounts. It ain't the same for everybody. However, when we take these two examples Sia and Gaga we see that radio does matter. Sia is hugely beloved by radio and many will say that she doesn't release pure generic garbage. You may like or dislike her, depends on what your stance on her is really, but she has used all promo tools the right way. Releasing great visuals, accompanied with some rare live performances, radio friendly singles etc which fueled her streaming numbers. Lana's label mate Gags, released a jazz alboom with a mummy when streaming was about to explode, released a flop album before and now with unlistenable songs she can not break onto radio and barely stays a week in the Top200 on US Spotify. And she was called the next Madonna a few years ago. Strategy what to release and when and how to effectively place your material is more important now than ever. The importance of the super young audience has never been this big like it is now. But I totally agree with you that streaming is taking over sales. This is a trend that is going on for years and now has become more than evident.
  11. This is simply not true. Radio is still and will stay for a long time the biggest source for Americans to discover new music. You really don't wanna tell us that the fact that she made 60k $ with this album thorugh streaming is a big success? In times when streaming is exploding? For comparisons sake: freaking Demon Lovato almost outstreamed HM with one song and let's not even talk about Selenputa or Ariana Grindr! Or Trashley or Melanin Martinez who are her competition among the younger demographic, an audience Lana had in the palm of her hand 4 years ago. Let us say it as it is: Honeymoon was a flop. If she really wants to turn things round she needs collabs with relevant artists and music that is streaming friendly, lots of touring all around the world accompanied with effective promotion. iTunes will be dead in a few years (probably by 2020). But I am really tired of this discussion. Lana has faded and will soon be on the level of Marina and the Diamonds. A great example of knowing how to play the cards right: Sia A great example of not knowing how to do so: Lady Gaga
  12. Why? he never had any big production credit so far + boring. We need the Mike Will SMASHA! She looks really good here.
  13. You are not in the position to tell anybody to leave, thankfully. Opinions exist, even harsh ones. Live with it.
  14. Yeah, it is always kinda shallow to comment on her looks, but it ain't just the weight. It's clear, she is doing things to her face and sorry, but since that is not natural and given, she kinda has to endure minor lashings. I am always a bit confused why instead of wasting money in surgery and fillers, she ain't investing in a personal trainer cause that's actually healthy. Oh, and just the other day on her Instagram, her face looked completly normal. Idk what's going on with her. Sometimes she looks totally fine and the other day totally bloated.
  15. she is gaining weight again. and her hair is way too dark. fix it fat!
  16. At least, we'd know it was about a man who is still alive
  17. how about no covers this time around? Or at least someone who is still alive. Like Katy Perry.
