and when she's notoriously bad at describing her own music retro future jazz humanism...
-
Perfect I need "Liz, I'm calling from California" as a song title NOW
-
Y'all are so creative Stream Honeymoon! I'm going to need everyone to stream Honeymoon!
-
It's amazing how different lyricism hits different people, because I find nothing redeeming about the lyrics of Watercolor Eyes and they don't touch almost anything on the past three albums in terms of that
-
Agreed. I'm thinking we'll have it around March or April next year.
-
I go back and forth about her most painful rollout as a fan, and it most definitely was between NFR and Blue Banisters
-
I'm just concerned about her not having an album title yet She revealed NFR's title in a magazine interview but it didn't come until a year later
-
someone leak Loved You Then and Now and BoZ's favorite Blue Banisters track before she scrapped it to hold us over
-
yeah i'm just not getting 2022 vibes from this one
-
I get Cruel World meets White Dress meets Honeymoon meets Buddy's Rendezvous meets Blue Banisters vibes from this description holy fuck i'm so excited
-
So much of Lana's previous records are very colorful so I'm really excited to hear what a colorless, wordy, conversational LDR album with some orchestra sounds like
-
Same! I died when she dropped the three singles, some of my favorite songs from her ever
-
You can say a lot of shit about Jack Antonoff, but he does have his finger on the pulse of his best music with Lana. He said The Greatest is the best song on NFR and White Dress is one of their best songs, and he was..not wrong. I trust him about this new track being on the same level.

When she dropped Lust for Life she described it as a gift for the fans and a sign for where we're going (Heroin/Change/Get Free/Tomorrow Never Came). I understand why the new style isn't people's cup of tea, but I also love the meandering, ambiant, stream of consciousness nature of Text Book/Blue Banisters/Arcadia/WFWF etc
-
I hear you. Jack said he had a magic moment with Lana, so hopefully it's in the vein of VB and The Greatest
-
I predict October at the earliest, March 2023 at the latest
-
I feel like I say this a lot but i'll say it again. I understand why people feel like she needs to change it up, but this wordy and conversationalist description just makes me think she's going to continue going deeper and deeper into her poetry and finding ways to incorporate both music and poetry Who knows, she's always been bad at describing her own albums, but I truly believe Lust for Life was the last we'll see of classic LDR

Swan Song makes me cry too sis a masterpiece being recognized
-
A WORDY ALBUM MOSTLY PRODUCED BY DREW? I love those lyrics and I fucking won
-
I still don't think it's going to come out this year. Hopefully she wants to give everyone a breather before she destroys us all again
-
American Teenager reminds me of another song but I can't put my finger on it
-
One of my favorites

anyone else really loving The Bomb? It's everything High as Hope should have been
