I think its odd that only for the necklace are they making you choose whether to keep or cancel the order within the email...maybe they're hoping some people would rather cancel so they don't have to fulfill as many orders or something

I also got the email about the A&W necklace being delayed and bought it immediately when it originally went up on the store I figured it might be delayed but this really sucks I think just the US so far

It is possible the hoodie box is better, but while there are no hoodies for sale on her regular store, the ones on LDR Village are $80 (and the t-shirts are $40 there too) so I think it may just be the same paper box, just bigger

Thats what I'm thinking too, like Lana won't even show the murder...its possible the outfit is the only homage to Elizabeth Short too, like it might not even be that she's playing her as a character Imagine if she also did something to honor Sharon Tate in this music video too...I think that would be so interesting!

I think in Lana's comment she's saying that she (or any woman really) could have ended up just like the Black Dahlia Elizabeth Short (the Black Dahlia) moved to Hollywood and was an aspiring actress, so I think Lana feels she relates to her in some ways. In fact, some of the rumors about Elizabeth Short said she was basically living on peoples couches, with no real home (much like Lana once did when she was a struggling musician) There's a lot of parallels between them like that, the most obvious one being that both their names are Elizabeth lol

I think they might put it up after the pop up shop, but maybe they'll drop it when the Candy Necklace music video comes out? I think this is the first album release where LDR Village hasn't done a huge drop with the release (Chemtrails and BB both had clothing, accessories, and the album for sale...even NFR had the surf shop online store) Maybe they realized how unhappy fans were with the designs/super long shipping and have decided to stop having so much merch from LDR Village lol

I think the last time Lana posted anything on Instagram with her was back in December when they were on the Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts lol but I imagine they're still friends
