i got wrapped up around every single song on charli minus thoughts, i appreciate the production but it doesn't click with me after all this time and i feel weird about it because it has all the elements that would make it my favorite but i just don't love it, i never skip tho, but it doesn't feel the same as when i hear silver cross, official or gone

i remember as a little kid being terrified with the cocoon mv, my cousin who took care of me was a big bjork (and marilyn manson) fan, so i was afraid of bjork for a while growing up but then i found out about biophilia and how she was creating all these amazing instruments and the app, and that's when i heard crystalline and fell in love, so since then, now as a 22 year old, i feel so deeply connected with a lot of the things i was "afraid" as a kid and bjork is one of them, my favorite song of all time belongs to her and i don't think there's ever gonna be another song that makes me feel the way i do when i hear pagan poetry

i don't hate warm, far from that, but i do think it's one of the weakest on the album overall, i think the """'problem""" with it is bc warm is between such amazing songs (next level charli, gone, cross you out, click) i mean... the sequence of warm / thoughts / bioyl it's not as strong as the sequence of next level / gone / cross your out nor silver cross / idwk / official, and so it goes

they all have shades of pink if that's your point... besides that i don't see anything similar, the aesthetic is very 90s-early 2000 japan, animesque

the thing about mabel it's not even being a one hit wonder but moreso about her having no personality whatsoever, she's very produced, from her music to her image, she's always uncomfortable wearing stuff that doesn't have anything to do with her, doing choreo when she has two left feet and being pushed on everyone's faces at every single tv show or award because she had a hit and the label wants to profit so bad the most annoying part is that when she first started, she had something very unique about her, but she lost that very quick

or she could've made pop 2 longer, i know some albums lose their shine after 10-11 tracks but that wouldn't be the case with pop 2, but i guess she wanted to follow a pattern with n1a being 10 tracks as well

she could've remade let u down or taken off lil peep's verse and added yung lean or bladee
