  7. we know absolutely nothing about star lux & i’m very curious about it, at the very least i’d like some further info about the track, maybe its length or how it sounds, but i can already guess that it’s a laptop demo
  8. it's pretty sad that people have to relish in somebody else's mistakes just to feel morally superior & accepted by other people, especially since a lot of it wasn't even constructive, majority of it was people saying really nasty things about her body & appearence, & it's funny because, like you said, it's not like she's a horrible person who's done/said terrible things, like, okay, she wore a headdress in a music video & said that feminism wasn't interesting... in 2012 & 2014... meanwhile there's dozens of other celebrities (who are more mainstream & liked by stan culture) who are way more problematic, & it hardly gets any attention, people are so selective with their outrage & it really shows how a lot of people are just dumb, i could just say that we should ignore these people because they'll never really get it, but i think we have the right to be upset at the fact that people are so vicious towards her for no real reason
  9. i also agree that qftc wasn't meant to be purposefully self-sabotaging, she was just straight-forward & honest, & because people today can't comprehend or think critically, they took the most sensationable parts of her statement (the name-dropping) & twisted her words to make it seem as though she was a racist, when she was just saying "hey, since these female artists receive praise & mainstream attention & fame for speaking about these things, can i do the same thing without being told i'm anti-women & crazy?" she was simply just sticking up for herself, i will say, the wording wasn't great, but i could still understand what she meant she had 1000s of people calling her a racist, also calling her a "karen", "trump supporter" & "republican" & also all of the disgusting body-shaming she received, i really don't think people would've said all of these horrible things if she was still viewed in a relatively positive light, because people are complete hyprocrites & will preach body positivity, empowerment, tolerance, & understanding, as long as it's somebody they agree with, if anything, the public's response probably made her hate fame even more, & i don't blame her one bit for that

  18. january 9th, 2009 - van wilson (a member of 5 points records, i believe?) who is also the guy in the cornfield pictures said that kill kill was his #1 favorite release of 2008... original image from the cross-pollination poster, this is probably the best look at this image we'll have for a while
  19. this is the best thread i can think of to post about this, i was just simply doing a simple "lizzy grant" search on google with the filters, i was looking at the index magazine article & i noticed that one of the teaser clips was uploaded on vimeo, i found their vimeo page & they have a 12 minute video in a better quality (as well as the two teasers) than the 18 minute upload onto youtube, obviously it's not much if you don't really care for higher quality content, especially since it isn't the full, 18 minute video, but i really do, so i thought this was a pretty cool find, i'll let you guys know if i find anything else
