i think cruel world is a solid opening track, but i will admit, it really drags on sometimes, it doesn't really go anywhere, it doesn't have a bridge, it's repetitive, i do love it's vibe, sound, & vocal style, it's very visceral

i honestly really like the "blue banisters" album title, since it seems like it's very symbolic & meaningful, even if it doesn't seem like it if you haven't heard the title track, although i will say, i think "arcadia" would've been a fabulous album title as well
