  1. thinking about the mojo interview's description of dark but just a game... a mix between portishead, ricky nelson's song "garden" party & allen ginsberg's poem "howl" into a potent statement of defiance
  2. me, sitting on my couch at 12:49am, on march 19th, right after listening to "for free" and seeing "LDR8 - Pre-Pre-Release Thread" appear on the homepage
  3. listening to the album for the first time is going to be a little bittersweet because it's the end of an era, the end of this iconic pre-release era! i've had a lot of fun with you all, and i'm going to miss it, but there's a possibility that she could announce ldr8 right after the album's released... and it's just a never-ending cycle of anticipating, excitement, & delusion
  4. can't wait to see "[LEAK] Dealer" on the recently updated section of lanaboards in 2027
  5. nothing about the upcoming album or music in general, just about clay's family farm
  6. i'll be manifesting that they accidentally pressed dealer on the end of the tracklist because yosemite is going to be iconic and a career highlight and we should not dismiss that
  7. when homemade music video footage / lizzy grant live show footage plays during the outro of the song
  8. we all know this would be the ultimate collapse, this would be my favorite thing ever
  9. "i did used to live in a trailer park" "i feel nostalgic, and i don't even know what for"
  10. friendly reminder that what is considered "good music" is ultimately subjective so even if you went to school to study music it really doesn't mean anything because their critique is based off their own personal opinion and an opinion is not a fact
  11. we're the ones who actually listen to lana's music and understand it, so what's your point?
  12. "for free" is the only track that i'm not really excited about, although i do think it'll be enjoyable, and that i'll like it, i'm just not into her collaborations
  13. as a stan from the midwest, i can confirm that i've been waiting for this moment ever since the pre-pre-release thread
  14. i'm hoping for a vibe that's similar to elvis, money hunny, & oh say can you see... i've been obsessed with them lately
  15. so... who's excited for wild at heart, dark but just a game, not all who wander are lost, and yosemite? this album is going to be very special, i'm looking forward to listening to it for the first time, i feel like every track on the album is going to be unique, exciting, and beautiful in their own way an album that will resonate when you're just playing it cool, when you're in love, when you're feeling introspective, and when you're feeling poetic
  16. banned for not knowing which year you became a fan
