We have the Beach Boys blastin' in our white car

This is who we really are, Jersey Shore trailer parks

Me and Jimmy and our friends, this is where the story ends

Late truck stop nights, wearin' blue jeans tight, wearin' blonde hair high

Girls are in their gold lamé, Betty Lou and Lana Ray, dreamin' about Monterrey

Maybe in a month or two

    Monterrey, Monterrey, Monterrey

beach boys hasn't even been out for a full 24 hours, but these are already some of my favorite lana del rey lyrics ever... just simply perfection

    Just curious, how come?

I remember reading that the album tag was "2007 Pod Audio" or something

I don't have the file but if true, I think that kinda confirms the year

oh, i totally forgot about that :air: i guess in my opinion it just doesn't really seem like something she would've recorded in 2007, her lyrical style was a bit different then, crooked cop seems more similar to her 2008 or 2009 work, but it probably is actually 2007, since hundred dollar bill, heavy hitter, and hawaiian tropic, all 2009 songs, had "2009 pod audio" in their metadata, according to lanapedia

You're not a true fan if you don't appreciate her 2010 pop songs #justsaying

i liked them for most of my lana del rey stanning career so i'm exempt :agree2: my tastes are just changing and songs like go go dancer just don't do it for me anymore! :shake:
