i saw that on lanapedia but i really can't hear it? i don't really quite know what she's saying and she's probably not saying "dying in love" either but it's such a dramatic lyric for a song that's so fun and playful, so i just act like it's that but either way i think it's up to interpretation, until the studio version produced by david kahne is leaked...

heroin and the original lust for life demo definitely suit eachother because they're both very ambient and atmospheric, like floating through space, i really wish she didn't change the original concept and sound of lust for life, the witchy / spacey / folk concept was so cool
