Yeah, it was like this in Glasgow too. It wasn't until the last song that I could actually make out words?
-
Saw her in Glasgow on Sunday, the show was incredible! She sold out and the energy was electric, she really commands the stage and room. Every song went off! The dancing was great too! It was crazy how a lot of the Crash songs seemed like massive hits, especially Lightning, Constant Repeat, Move Me and Yuck! You'd think they were all #1 hits with the crowds reaction haha. One thing that did surprise me though was the reaction when XCX World was played?! Only a few people knew the songs? It was weird. The people in front of us were theorising that it was her new album cos they'd never heard the songs before... It really shocked me cos I assumed the whole fan base knew about that album? Also the merch was really cool, however the paddle and one hitter are cheaper on her store. She also had signed copies of Crash vinyl and signed tour posters!

surely she's gonna do Out Out in the UK?

Are we ever getting the Bois Lie music video?! Also feel the singles run on this album could be insane: 01. Bite Me 02. Bois Lie (ft. Machine Gun Kelly) 03. F.U. 04. Avalanche

I wish we knew more about Your First, that's a sound I'd really like her to explore... I wonder if there's more songs from 2016/2017? These sessions sound like they happened in-between Dead Petz and Younger Now. Miss You So Much was performed on the Milky Milky Milk tour so could be from this time?

Yeah from what I've read through different forums, fan sites and early interviews etc. The album was titled 'Female Rebel' and is reference to the 4x4 lyric. I think the only songs from those sessions that made the final cut are: • Adore You • 4x4 • #GETITRIGHT • FU • Rooting For My Baby • On My Own Kinda explains why the latter were reduced to bonus tracks, swapped in favour of the newer hip-hop material. I do believe Rubber Band appeared on a draft tracklisting when the album was confirmed to be Bangerz? So again it was probably one of the few Pharrell tracks (2012 sessions) that were considered for the final album...

I think LFL/NFR was the last time we got somewhat decent merch that represented the era but was also kinda creative? Chemtrails for me was the biggest let down! They could've done so much with that visual... LDR golf balls, tea cups, compact mirrors, pearls etc. I still love the idea of an LDR tea set, teapot with a classic style then each cup representing a different era? Like maybe the flowers or something? And then they could do limited edition anniversary tea cups etc. For the Born To Die anniversary, I would've liked to have seen heartshaped sunglasses, coke necklace, zip lighter, blue jeans bathing suit, national anthem themed beach towel? the lyric book could have been reprinted, lithographs, off to the races playing cards, rose keychain... There's so many possibilities! I do like the prayer candle however.

Thinking about how XCX World could potentially be released one day and ways in which it could be done. I'd quite like to see the original album but maybe with alternate versions of the singles we have? So have the Pete Tong or TyNi version of Girls Night Out? Or maybe a version that includes both. And then the version of Good Girls that features RAYE? Maybe even include the Sophie demo of No Angel so it differs from the monthly drop version? It depends whether she'd want the streams from the 3 singles to be attached to the album or if she'd prefer to put out alternate mixes so that it's more exciting for fans... I'd love to see the below collection of songs finally be put out officially just so she alone can finally start benefiting from the project. It'd be interesting too as to whether she'd promote it as an album campaign or just drop it as a mixtape and move on? I wonder if they have any sort of promotional material that hasn't leaked left over.

Not my dream setlist of hers but something that I'd quite like to see and would also be achievable if she learned to do some of her newer material live. I understand the nostalgia of the earlier material but I'd love to see her do a more intimate "folk" tour, in small venues with deep cuts from the last few records. Lana Del Rey: Arcadia Tour

This for me feels like a good balance of original concept plus newer tracks that the label probably liked? It's so strange to me how in early 2015 she was playing Mow That Lawn live and said it was her new song; at this time a punk album was rumoured. But by the end of the year she was making songs like Girls Night Out? And then in 2017 the XCX World album was due to be released but then whilst it was delayed then leaked we got Number 1 Angel (I guess not too experimental but sonically a shift from the main album) and then Pop 2, her most bold and experimental project? I'd love to see a timeline of her musical sessions and planned releases.

I'm pretty sure Crash is the album she'd already began making and referred to as the "Janet" album? We know a few of these songs existed pre-how im feeling now or were created alongside it. I just wonder whether she's still have wanted to do the big pop girl roll out and really dive into that image etc. Or whether it'd be an alternate version of Crash? And then if it was the big pop album like we hear it today would she have continued with that for her 5th album or gone some other direction?
-
I can't help but wonder what direction she would've went in for her fifth and final album (with her label) if covid hadn't have happened and we'd gotten Crash instead of how i'm feeling now?
-
Honestly this would've been an amazing album... Especially if you replace some of the final tracks with the demos. 01. Sucker 02. Break The Rules 03. I Wanna Be Like You 04. Breaking Up 05. It Doesn't Matter (Seven Day Holiday) 06. Boom Clap 07. Doing It 08. Body Of My Own 09. Can You Please Shut Up? 10. Famous 11. Let's Make Love 12. Caught In The Middle 13. Need Ur Luv Deluxe: 14. London Queen 15. Money (That's What I Want) 16. Mow That Lawn 17. SuperLove
