This! It definitely sounds like a leftover or bside from that project... Hopefully these are just droplet singles and the new album goes somewhere new.
-
I honestly love Party Up The Street, felt like a more mature / sophisticated We Can't Stop! And would love her to explore that sound more... And I didn't mind D.R.E.A.M. either haha. But we know that songs like Bad Karma, Naked and Victoria's Secret have apparently been considered for both projects. Add on the 2020 leaks and any new material and we definitely have more than 12 songs.
-
To think the She Is album was originally gonna have 18 songs and now she's recorded a whole new album and somehow we're only getting 12 songs?
-
I just want the final official tracklisting at this point, they really could've pulled a deluxe edition for some of the leaked songs... If we are getting all the leaks on the standard album, I'm hoping maybe Japan or something will get some bonus tracks (even She Is Miley Cyrus tracks like Mary Jane or Victoria's Secret)
-
Obviously they may know nothing and are just listing the leaked songs / confirmed songs but I'm really kinda worried that we might just be getting all the leaks plus 1 or 2 new songs... If so, let's hope the She Is Miley Cyrus leaks!
-
So I saw a post floating about on Twitter, confirming that the songs below are the final songs (but they gave no order), seems like it could be legit but I'm really hoping not, I'd rather some new material. Here's the tracks (most we know of) in a tracklist I made. 01. High 02. Plastic Hearts 03. Hate Me 04. Win Some, Lose Some 05. Night Crawlin (featuring Billy Idol) 06. Gimme What I Want 07. Midnight Sky 08. Prisoner (featuring Dua Lipa) 09. Naked 10. WTF Do I Know? 11. Bad Karma 12. Angels Like You 13. Edge Of Midnight (featuring Stevie Nicks) 14. Heart Of Glass 15. Zombie

So I have a theory, there's new merch on her US store that says "Smile - Side B"... I'm thinking perhaps a deluxe version of Smile was planned (hence the fan edition of the CD rather than it being called a deluxe edition). However since it kinda flopped maybe they're releasing the rest as an EP, side B. Maybe new music plus the new remix of Resilient?
-
A Universal statement was released this week somewhere in Europe stating Katy Perry was returning! An insider confirmed a remix of Resilient featuring a Spanish pop star exists and could come this month... Also Katy herself liked a tweet about an upcoming video for Not The End Of The World! I expect Only Love might get a push at some point since Capitol really like that one.
-
So, the Smile era continues... There's lots of speculation about an upcoming remix of Resilient being released, also a music video for Not The End Of The World. It was rumoured earlier in the year that Cry About It Later had a music video filmed too but it's potentially scrapped like the Smile (Diddy version) video.

Either you haven't heard Night Crawlin or you haven't listened to The Fame Monster... cos they are very very different

An insider apparently confirmed that Plastic Hearts was meant to be released on Friday as a buzz single but they chose Edge Of Midnight instead. Clever choice now that Midnight Sky is battling for #1 in the UK. However, the track length for track 2 showed up briefly on iTunes... So I'm guessing Plastic Hearts is track 2. I'm also gonna assume that due to the explicit tags, WTF Do I Know? is track 10. Meaning the album is shaping up like so... (I will update this post as more info about the tracklist is revealed) 01. 02. Plastic Hearts 03. 04. 05. 06. 07. Midnight Sky 08. 09. 10. WTF Do I Know? 11. 12. 13. Edge Of Midnight (Midnight Sky) feat. Stevie Nicks 14. Heart Of Glass [Live] 15. Zombie [Live]
-
Well it samples Edge of Seventeen... Just confused why they didn't release this version earlier?
-
So track 13 is Midnight Sky ft. Stevie Nicks... Kinda disappointed that its not an original track.
-
Ugh, I can't believe this has become my most anticipated album of 2020! And it's only 3 weeks away! Can't wait to see the tracklist and hear the new single with Dua.
-
I really love the album title, more and more! I mean something like Glass Hearts would have suggested vulnerability and fragility and that really doesn't seem to suit Miley as a person or her current place where she's at in life. I also like how plastic as a material suggests its harder to break, or can be molded and reshaped etc. Plastic Heart "could also be used to describe someone who is immune to heartbreak, or lacks emotion". It just feels like such a loaded title, especially considering Bangerz to present has documented her relationship with Liam (good and bad). When you dissect lyrics from some of the leaks and tracks so far it all just connects and feels so thought out! "I don't give a fuck, I don't believe in love." "Am I wrong that I moved on, and I don't even miss you?" "I don't belong to anyone, I don't need to be loved by you." "Don't you get too close. Love you now but not tomorrow."
-
I believe people do have the full 2019 album and they're probably holding off on leaking it incase any of it is reused for Plastic Hearts... So fingers crossed we'll get both projects haha
-
From the snippet, I can't see it fitting on this record. The SHE IS ... era was "genre fluid" and kinda anything goes. This definitely feels very cohesive and from what I remember of that snippet it wasn't very rock?
-
While she's at it I hope they repress Bangerz too! I'd even a buy coloured pressing of Younger Now tbh! They really missed the mark here, we could've had a Midnight Sky 7" and CD single... A Plastic Hearts vinyl and cassette tape! Honestly I would've probably bought a Heart Of Glass 7" too.
-
Honestly, I'm kinda hoping only these below make the cut and then we'll get 6 brand new tracks... 01. Angels Like You 02. Gimme What I Want 03. High 04. Midnight Sky 05. Night Crawlin 06. Plastic Hearts 07. WTF Do I Know?
-
Hmmm to me the live tracks are just a bonus. Bangerz (standard) and She Is Miley Cyrus were both only 13 tracks and I imagine that's all we would've gotten with or without the live tracks. As for the EP tracks and Slide Away, can't people just add them to the album themselves once it's released...
-
Going by the explicit tags on Apple, WTF Do I Know is either track 1 or track 10
-
The only songs we have are... Sagittarius Mother's Daughter Slide Away Party Up The Street American Dream (Boring) Naked Golden G String Cattitude Bad Karma Nothing Breaks Like A Heart I imagine the rest will leak once the new album tracklist is confirmed. People have the original album so we should end up with most of the songs

This was the 2019 version of SHE IS MILEY CYRUS 01. Sagittarius 02. Mother's Daughter 03. Slide Away 04. Party Up The Street 05. American Dream (Boring) 06. Naked 07. Golden G String 08. Mary Jane 09. Victoria's Secret 10. Cattitude 11. Bad Karma 12. I Play With Fire 13. Cold Blooded 14. Nothing Breaks Like A Heart

Has Miley ever left easter eggs before, throughout an album campaign? I wonder if she's dropping clues in these last few performances... Backyard Sessions: she had vinyl/plastic hearts hanging from her tree, could be referencing the song "Plastic Hearts" deleted Instagram post: a photo of Miley in the background with the text "WTF Do I...", referencing the song "WTF Do I Know?" Save Our Stages: she wore a top that said "angel" could be a clue about "Angels Like You"
