XCX3 concept: double album: album 1 - POP Heaven - a little more mainstream album. Light and spacey production almost dreamlike (ref: Lucky, Unlock It, Focus etc.). Angel aesthetic and pastel colours. album 2 - POP Hell - experimental album, released as a mixtape, hardcore PC production, loads of collabs etc. Devil or fallen angel aesthetic and black or red etc. I know this sounds like N1A/P2 but if it was fleshed out it could be an amazing concept, going into the visuals etc.

It's no longer being stocked instores in the UK, however her Warner EU store still has copies. Maybe UO have some online? Otherwise eBay or Discogs... Hope you get one!

For XCXMas I hope she finds Jesus and gives us the Christian pop album we all deserve... If you go to church, pray pray!

Something tells me you're gonna be real disappointed ahaha. Lust For Life was her last big pop star era and I mean it was great, but nothing spectacular. The videos had a budget but were no Born To Die visuals and I don't even need to say anything about the album cover.

MAC and VB will be on the album, the era has officially started, i.e. we got a buzz single and lead with visuals alongside the album title and song teasers. She released them cos she felt the time of year was right and she wanted to give us a sample of the new music. The proper promotion is yet to begin... Most likely in January with the album following in March. I don't know why everybody is mad, like she told us the day VB dropped that the album would be out in 2019 and that we'd maybe get another song in October. She was clear from the beginning, not like she just announced it today! Yes, we didn't get the October single - however we got snippets of 4 album tracks, a few live performances including a debut of 2 more new and unreleased songs. I personally enjoy the little teasers she's been giving us so far, the NR painting for Christmas, the snippets, the Yosemite pictures (will it make the cut?) etc.

XCXMas! Get ready for... Really fake enthusiasm in the intro, how happy she is to be on Radio 1 for an hour! 1999 talking about Spice Girls in the 90's and maybe their reunion, she'll definitely go! She'd love to collab with them and she'd be posh spice but elements of all of them... 2 Become 1 and how to her it's a Christmas classic - then into her Christmas day routine. she wakes up Christmas morning hungover and then skips lunch and just gets drunk, she also can't wrap presents, she leaves everything last minute. Then East 17 Stay Another Day and how they were the poor mans NSync but still iconic - how much she loves the fur coats etc. She'd love to recreate the video with Taylor and Camila. then a Taylor song or maybe Troye, who knows? a bit more talking about getting drunk at Christmas, falling in her Nans Christmas tree when she was 15, food poisoning from Turkey etc. Boom Clap

I'm predicting top 5, most likely #3 or #2. At this point it's difficult to predict cos we don't know what promotion is planned, but I'm expecting this era to be like Honeymoon (which debuted at #2). A number 1 album could be possible if she goes all out with the merch and signed copies etc like Lust For Life.

We think it was reworked based upon a snippet on Instagram stories by one of her producers, we also think that she shot a music video for CTMP due to a snippet on insta and has the label ever pushed for it to be a single? It's all speculation at this point.

Or maybe it wasn't released cos the album it belonged to leaked in full over a year ago and she probably had / has no intentions of releasing it now as a single.

I ain't coming for you, yes we all want news and are dying for new material but that doesn't mean we should spam Lana or her management. She gave us 2 songs to tie us over until the album release, enjoy them. By all means rant on Lanaboards, we all do - but Lana is human and is probably just relaxing before the Gucci and NFR campaign begins.

We know she's alive. She's just enjoying the holidays with her family... I honestly think people forget that this is her job, like she is entitled to a break and doesn't have to update us on everything.

Imagine SuperLove into Breaking Up as the first Sucker singles, damn.

She legit said in every interview that the songs were dumb, she knew what she was doing. The opening track was also a diss track to the men in the industry, like her management etc. Obviously it was heavily adjusted by the label, but it's still a great body of work.

Originally Sucker was gonna be released worldwide on October 21st 2014, so the tour was a promotional tour for the album to follow in a few weeks, then the album was delayed til December in the US (hence the Jack & Charli tour kicking off in 2015).

I think it's safe to say the whole demo version of the album is better than the final.

Sucker is soooo Charli, might be a different Charli to now (she's grown and evolved), but still so her. It's full of her personality, the attitude and almost laziness / boredom vibe of some songs only she can pull off. I mean lyrically XCX World wasn't much different, just production was new. Obviously it was watered down (but it doesn't sound forced), it's a great body of work and one she should be proud of. It's a stepping stone, she was rebelling against the pop convention at that time, as she is now. It's an amazing project, the whole thing is ironic and it makes for an interesting listen. Plus songs like Sucker, Breaking Up, Body Of My Own, Caught In The Middle and Need Ur Luv are all career highlights.

The more I think about it, I'm expecting a really lowkey release. Single in February, alongside a music video. Album art, tracklist and preorder date announcement later in the month. Pre-order end of February, album out in March. Maybe another single and music video in April or May. I think this era will be very Honeymoon, in the sense of minimal promotion etc. Lust For Life was a big era, more pop, lots of promo, interviews, radio previews etc.

I dunno if many of you collect Charli CD's etc. But I have a few missing from my collection, mainly promo's, anybody know where to get them. ebay and discogs is dry.

Yeah but she was really defining her image around the time of the Exchange show and I'm glad that it carried out into the N1A era. And I was just saying that maybe if she hadn't have performed them at Exchange and stated that they were scrapped then they might not have leaked, people wouldn't have known of there existence and therefore might not have hacked her. I didn't word the bit about the leaks very well, obviously people got some of the Exchange songs, and they then went on to hack her again and get XCX3. Maybe if she hadn't have done Exchange then XCX3 might have never leaked.
