How about for XCXmas, we listen to all the amazing songs (and leaks) we already have from Charli! Including the holiday anthem that should have been, Need Ur Luv!

Surprised we haven't recieved an acoustic version of 1999, I'd love her to a solo version, like After The Afterparty.

December 15th should now be the official XCXmas.

Damn it's officially Sucker's 4th birthday too! She's truly an icon.
-
Sucker didn't kill her career, it was the beginning of her career as a (mainstream) pop star - if Sucker had've bombed like True Romance then she probably would've been dropped or held in label purgatory for her writing skills. Boom Clap and Fancy were the biggest hits of that era but Doing It went top 10 in the UK, and Break The Rules, After The Afterparty and Boys were all top 40 hits, Boys going viral online. I understand they couldn't recreate the success of Boom Clap, but to say that era killed her career is false. Her career is only beginning in my opinion, I've mentioned before that Charli is unique in the sense she's had huge success globally with songs - but to the GP she's still an up and coming artist despite being 7 years into her career. Ultimately without the success of Sucker, it's likely she wouldn't have moved into a more "pop" sound with XCX World, and without that era panning out the way it did we probably would've never have gotten the mixtapes. We should be grateful that she couldn't recreate the success of Sucker, cos the mixtapes were a result of her not being able to get top 10 hits - meaning she could afford to take more risks and be more experimental.

Thank you so much! I bought the picture disc and True Romance, finally have all her albums on vinyl! Might get the black pressing of Sucker in January, just cos I love the artwork.
-
Thank you so much! I was worried about customs, so was avoiding her store. I'm guessing you mean the tumblr one? Also would you recommend the black or picture disc?
-
Random but does anybody a good place to get Sucker on vinyl in the UK? International shipping is so expensive, but it seems pretty non-existent in the UK.
-
So she's working on something special with a new band Nasty Cherry... hope its a collab!
-
I think you mean Cum To My Party...
-
Hmmm, as much as like the shoot for the monthly drops - I do hope we get a new aesthetic for the album.
-
How do we imagine the new XCX3 album cover will look? More futuristic like Pop 2, PC like the XCX World / VV era, a new aesthetic? Do you think she'll still have the bangs on the new album cover?

Ugh I really wish Charli would do like a 7 days of Christmas thing... dropping unreleased tracks or remixes etc. on the build up to Christmas. day 1 - Bricks (ft. Tommy Genesis) day 2 - 5 In The Morning remixes - available to stream day 3 - White Mercedes day 4 - 1999 remix day 5 - Bounce (ft. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) day 6 - Party Party day 7 - Blame It On Your Love (ft. Stefflon Don)
-
Oh, strange that it's released as Original Motion Picture Soundtrack... I'm guessing we're not getting Bricks
-
I guess it isn't coming then - is this film a sequel? Cos there's an Assassination Nation soundtrack on spotify?
-
Surely it will get a release, if Kingdom, Red Balloon and Explode got put out?
-
Woahhhhhhhhhhhh… Has Bricks always been Charli ft. Tommy? I always thought Charli was just a feature
-
I mean if you say so, I appreciate the effort and skill taken to create the visual, but personally I prefer the mixtape covers. She manages to capture the sound in the artwork with them.
-
I personally think Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 topped it aha

Norman Fucking Rockwell - Pre-Release Thread

She always excells when doing longer tracks... Off To The Races Cruel World The Blackest Day Heroin Venice Bitch -
I haven't misunderstood aha, somebody asked if her upcoming album should be XCX5... My point was that although she considers them as albums, they were released and announced as mixtapes... from the very beginning. Number 1 Angel was always announced as a mixtape - whilst we waited for XCX3. It's not like she made N1A as an album and her label refused to release it, it was always a group of songs designed to bridge the gap for fans whilst the album was delayed. And Pop 2 was a last minute project, again not an album - just Charli collaborating and having fun. Officially in her discography the upcoming album is her 3rd studio album, making it XCX3. I know H&E and SU weren't released physically or put on to streaming but they are also mixtapes. The mixtapes didn't have any promotion in terms of singles, visuals, tours etc. Therefore to me they are just that, mixtapes.

Yeah but they are still mixtapes, like N1A and Pop 2...
