I do hope so! It's still so bizarre to me that she is so stuck in terms of an album release, like she's not a debut artist, she's 7 years into her career with 2 albums already released... I wish they'd just trust her

Well sorry for assuming there's lyrical similarities between two songs that talk about nostalgia, and I guess we can't all be insiders so I assumed when fans at the listening sessions said Charli was unsure about putting it out, meant that there was some uncertainty about the song from her. And again how was I to know it was recorded before 2002, not many people will know that and will assume it's written after the success of 2002, especially 1999 being released months afterwards. But y'know.

Yeah but she was unsure about releasing it, and it seems coincidental that Anne Marie (also signed to some division of Warner) has had some success with the a song that is lyrically similar.

It seems unlikely that there's a project/EP/mixtape attached to the monthly drops, so if 1999 does become a 'hit' do you think it will remain as a stand alone single or do you think they'll push the album (assuming there is something in the works)?

I mean RBFY was only an intro/interlude which we've probably heard in full from the snippets... But I'd love to hear Yosemite, she said in every interview that it was her favourite song on the album... And it's obviously happy and hopeful. That's the one I wanna hear.

1999 is clearly her label looking for a hit, jumping on the 2002 bandwagon - obviously Charli was unsure about the song. But its cool cos its new and the majority of fans haven't heard it but I agree that CTMP should be unreleased or put out on a mixtape with the other XCX3 tracks. No Angel was never officially leaked or released and she knew that the Angels wanted it, and GNO was obviously very important to her. But if she doesn't stop now I just can't help but worry for her, like she's clearly over being asked about Taxi, but if she continues to tack on XCX3 leaks to the new material then the harassment will never stop. Anyways lets hope 1999 SMASHES!

Or like a medley Roll With Me / Bounce / I Got It, I understand she probably has to perform "mainstream" or "gp friendly" material at a TS concert but they do her discography such an injustice

Her Rep setlist is so bad like open with Boom Clap (the hit), Unlock It (seems to be her fave), Focus or No Angel, make Fancy an interlude or something then Boys and Girls Night Out (the new single) - obviously thats only 5 songs but she could add other singles or mixtape tracks Maybe add Doing It and Afterparty when in UK / Europe

I even feel like if needs be they could've rejigged the tracklist of N1A and added Afterparty, just for extra streams and promo. Was it even part of the album in 2017, or was Boys the new lead?

Would it really have been the expensive/difficult to promote N1A as an album? Like even they had've just pushed 1 single/video, did a promo tour and then released physical copies...

3am (Pull Up) would've been the perfect single, it fits flawlessy inbetween ATAP and Boys... They really missed out on an opportunity

Just been listening to snippets from her studio sessions over the last year and a bit and damn! I need to hear Bricks, Closer, Dance All Night, Middle Finger, Mona Lisa, My Heart, Party 4 U, Shoes and all the rest I really want an album in this vein, like emo lyrics with amazing production, kinda like a comedown from the party vibes of the mixtapes.

I can't listen to Pop 2 as a whole, doesn't flow as well as N1A for me personally... but I guess it is a mixtape so

I really hope they revise the tracklist and remove some of the older album tracks rather than stick the new material on the end... I mean she has 2 #1 singles and some other hits so they don't need all the older material on there

Like I'm an LDR fan too and she has soooooo much unreleased stuff, unleaked and all over YT but she doesn't ever receive the harassment that Charli does, like I can't help but think Charli made things worse by releasing No Angel etc. BUT I'M NOT SAYING IT'S HER FAULT, its just "fans" try and take advantage of her generosity Like for real and remember when No Angel got released and some of you were like "okay, let's start tweeting and commenting on her insta about taxi so we get that next"... if they get released they get released, if not they'll probably leak anyways, just remember she's human.
