I didn't become the owner of LanaBoards until 2016, so all Welcome Messages sent out since under my ownership have! But yesss, we stan a user who knows our rules! Luv u legend! x

If a user shares a link to an illegal leak of copyrighted content set for an official release through purchase and streaming, they are permanently banned. As I said above, this has always been the rule, and users should be well aware of this. Not only is this stated in the terms users must read and agree to upon joining, but they are also mailed to the user in their Welcome Message, and are available for review at any time under both the Help & Support forum and by using the Guidelines quick link on the header bar. We also go through this every release cycle, and moderators post multiple public red-text reminders for users to enforce no rules are violated. Read and follow the rules, don't be a delulu! x

I made an error stating he posted a Dealer snippet, when the snippet he posted was of Arcadia - and not one that Lana had shared at that time. Either way, it was a leak. The bottom line is, sharing illegal links to leaks of upcoming content of any kind is strictly forbidden here. It doesn't matter the length, it doesn't matter if Lana herself shares it the next day. If the audio did not originate from Lana or her team at the time it is posted, it is an illegal leak and cannot be shared here. We must enforce this rule for the safety of our site, and we do this through a permanent ban. That is the rule, and that is the punishment. This is nothing unexpected as this has always been our rule. We tend to go through this every release cycle, and should not be unknown knowledge. If you don't want to be banned, don't break the rules that you were required to read and agree to upon joining. That's all I can say x

Don't worry, we'll definitely be having a Blue Banisters theme for the album release! I typically like to wait until a good photoshoot comes in, so hopefully I can have one up within 2 weeks of release

No, that would be using its initials! WPs will only be handed out though if you directly say something alone then lines of “you can find the snippet of blahblahblah on _____” a ban will be given only if you actually directly link to the site. if you happen to say it otherwise, myself or a mod will just edit your post to remove it x

Sure! Just don't refer to it directly, hint at it by using its initials, or any other identifying information. Calling it "the leak site", "that site", "the site that shall not be named", etc. is fine! (as long as you’re not telling users to find a known leak there) x

Hi all! Just wanted to check in with you all since I was out all day. I just finished catching up on all of the pages I missed while I was out, and I'm glad to see you all had an exciting day on LanaBoards! Thank you for keeping it under control for the most part, and extra thanks to my wonderful mods @Clampigirl & @YUNGATA for holding down the fort while I was gone. I'm happy to see not too many Warning Points needed to be handed out for leak link requests. Also, I just wanted to say moving forward I will not be enforcing spoilers to be used on any sort of insider information regarding possible songs, tracklists, release dates, etc things of that nature. (If you would like to keep using spoilers for this matter out of respect for other users though, please do!) I won't be enforcing this though as at the end of the day this type of information is just rumoured. Although these insiders are typically correct, it can't really be proven concretely, so I won't be enforcing spoilers. However, we will be enforcing spoilers to be used on any sort information obtained from [listening to] a song leak - that includes lyrics, thematic elements, sound description, song comparisons, etc. Because leaks are more tangible than insider info and provide information that can be proven, I would appreciate if you all could continue to use spoilers as to not ruin anything for those who are waiting until release day! (& of course, no asking for links to leaks, posting leaks, or hinting at where to find them. Please do not mention any hints of the name of any leak sites either!) Anyway, today was a pretty heavy day for me, but I'm looking forward to spending these next couple of days with you here on the boards reveling in all of the excitement of Blue Banisters <3 Love you guys lots! Just popping in for a moment - please use spoilers when giving thoughts about leaks you’ve listened to! Lyrics, sound, melodies, etc. Any general insider information including possible songs and such is fine! also, just another quick reminder to everyone to not share or ask for links to leaks!
