I would love if some of her rougher, incomplete demos were reworked for an album so that we could finally hear them in all their deserving glory! 1. Baby Blue Love 2. Bentley 3. Valley of the Dolls 4. Hangin' Around 5. Heartshaped Chevrolet I also think Noir would fit really well on this album if she decides to go for the revenge theme. I'd also love to hear Tired of Singing the Blues & Velvet Crowbar with updated vocals, though I love the original production on those. Though, I think the most realistic options at this point are Colour Blue (since it was recorded at the same time as Cherry Blossom & Barrie was also present, which could possibly be the song with Barrie's writing credits. We would also finally learn its true title which would be exciting), Disco (she's mentioned this song so many times in interviews, acknowledges it in livestreams, and even had it playing on her instagram story once), Yes to Heaven & Fine China (given their consideration history). Maybe Serial Killer too since she sings that one live pretty frequently and that could definitely find its way into the "revenge" theme x Thank you for asking! x

Just wanted to echo what I stated yesterday in response to drama - Please no personal attacks, and by that, I mean do not personally insult other users just because you disagree with their opinion. Lighthearted banter here and there is fine, just make sure nothing crosses a line and gets too personal. Please remember to always be respectful and keep your responses constructive. Wild on You & Colour Blue are the same track - there's no confirmed title, so people usually assign it one of the two you listed. This is actually why I'm excited at the thought that it could be included (even though there's no true confirmation there yet) because we can finally learn the real title lol. I'm assuming you mean 'Wild One' as well where she sings, "I'm wild, I'm free, no man can handle me." x

Okay I've just caught up on this thread and I wanted to note on this - I feel like this may be a possibility? BoZ noted that there's also a Barrie outtake on the record, and Barrie was present at the recording studio when Cherry Blossom & Colour Blue were originally recorded. Since not much is known about Colour Blue, even its title, perhaps Barrie had credits on that song that we didn't know about? BoZ added that the outtake was one we hadn't heard before, but perhaps he only knows the title of it rather than having listened to it, and since we don't know the true title of Colour Blue, perhaps that could be it? Just theorising. (also, I'm going to move out some of the drama that happened earlier out of this thread, so if you see the page number decrease that's why) xx

Alright! I'm just going to say it due to some recent discussion I'm seeing. Please, please do not shame someone's body on LanaBoards. I'm just not going to tolerate it. Not only for Lana's sake, but for the other body-conscious people who may be reading. To get a bit personal here, even I gained weight during this pandemic, and I flipped my shit about it! Started crash course dieting and exercising like a psycho once I realised I put on a few more pounds than normal and THAT was unhealthy. It was also around the same time people were saying some not-so-nice things about Lana's weight on social media and even on here, and yeah that definitely had an impact on me and I'm sure others as well. So be mindful of the message you're promoting and who you may be affecting. Though Lana may not be one of the ones who ever sees the message, remember that she's human just like the rest of us. No one is going to look like a supermodel 24/7. As long as she's happy with her appearance, and she should be because she always looks amazing at any weight, that is all that is important, and it shouldn't be up for discussion. LanaBoards welcomes difference of opinions, but I think comments on someone's weight just shouldn't be up for public opinion, period. Thanks all x

Okay, so I've been listening to the album today and I just have to say.. I'm underwhelmed. I sort of expected this based on what critics & users here were saying, but it's just kind of sad considering this was 4 years in the making. That's not to say it's a bad album per se, it just doesn't live up to her past two works. I think because we all had high expectations based on her previous two albums, both of which were stellar, that's probably why this album falls short in comparison. I'm not sure that I'd give any song on this album anything beyond an 8/10 or even a 7. I've only listened to the album 5 times through, and I think my favourite track is California. I'll give it a few more listens over the next few days before I come back with full thoughts to see if it begins to grow on me, but for right now, I'm just a tad disappointed. This record lacked a true "Wow" moment for me, and that seems to be the case for others as well x
