There is one! (& rightfully so)

That's kinda funny about Maeve though - they used to be bestttt friends towards the start of her career (and I assume Maeve styled her along with or before JohnnyBlueEyes), but the last time they were pictured together was near the start of 2014. I remember all the iconic pap shots & videos with Maeve in them from the early days. Maeve still apparently follows Lana on instagram though, so I'm assuming they just drifted apart after Maeve decided to take on different styling projects, such as with Demi Lovato & Janelle Monáe x

Heyyyy, I really hate this day! Gonna cry in my room & then dig my grave! I thought I was nice, thought I was worth a shot... I thought someone could want me... but apparently not!!! Happy Valentine's Day, LB xx

Last night, Lana Del Rey was seen leaving Churchome in Beverly Hills, California. She was attending their weekly Wednesday night service. Also in attendance were Demi Lovato, Justin & Hailey Bieber, who also frequent these services. (seen at 2:06)

This one! From January 14th - Now it's gone -

Lana deleted the selfie of her & Sean on January 14th from her Instagram. (However the photo of them backstage in Wisconsin is still up, so I’d take this lightly) x

Omg your Lana Del Ray, Paradise, & Honeymoon rankings are like complete 180s I'm glad I made this thread, because extreme switches like those interest me so much. It's so cool to see how people's tastes change, finding new appreciation for songs, etc. (Respect for realising the greatness that is 24, but #justice for AKA Yayo, dropping from #1 to #7... still her best song) x

That Radio performance is actually what converted me from being a Radio-h8r to a fan! I used to think the original song was too snarky and sassy, very immature, and the line "how do you like me now?" especially bothered me. Contrary to what @@Ultra Violet said, it was too bold for me. After this performance, it became more light-hearted & tongue-in-cheek for me.. less like she was trying to rub it in someone else's face, and more like she was just trying to celebrate her own successes. Now I actually love that "how do you like me now" line, especially when you actually watch how she delivered it in this performance - smirking, almost like she wants to laugh too. Even she knows the line is silly, but that's just the way she felt. Radio is actually now my designated "happy" song whenever I need a song to accompany my feelings of successes lol. That Jazz Cafe performance is one of my favourites too - I have the audio ripped & in a little album in my iTunes. I love the laid back acoustic approach to this set - and like you said, her Million Dollar Man performance was another standout. Carmen too. & actually, I was right next to the guy who filmed & uploaded these in the queue for her 2017 London show! (which he also has lovely videos of.) I got to know him really well, since we talked for like 12+ hours in that queue. He told me lots about that show, and how it's one of the most magical concerts he's ever been to in his life (& if you check his YouTube page, he's been to a lot.) He also talked about his experience of meeting Lana after the show and how she was super sweet to everyone and spent a lot of time chatting & signing things - he actually got her to sign a fiver for him lol x

I'm ultra intrigued by your BTD ranks - I'm surprised that after all these years, Summertime Sadness is still your top favourite! That seems to be sort of an unpopular opinion among fans who are more interested in the rest of her discography compared to those who just know that one song (aka the locals.) For me, I used to like that song a lot more than I do now, but I have to admit the popularity of the remix tired out that song for me. Also, respect for the immense jump OTTR had! Don't let @@YUNGATA see what's at the bottom of your current list though.. I remember she used to call me out back in the day when I was an avid Radio h8r I just have way too much time on my hands I think

Could your first 5 shuffled Lana songs convert a newbie to a fan?
Elle replied to daphnedinkley's topic in Games
Alright, I've gone ahead and made a new thread! I'm excited to see anyone else's shuffles. As for the title, I wasn't sure either, so I just picked the first thing that made sense to me but if anyone has a better title idea just let me know lol & ikr they'd probably just be ultra confused and probably a H8r -
Could your first 5 shuffled Lana songs convert a newbie to a fan?
Elle replied to daphnedinkley's topic in Games
Would you mind if I moved this post & everyone's replies into a new thread? I think this is such a fun idea and deserves it's own thread Anyway, mine were: Bartender Guns & Roses Making Out Scarface High by the Beach Well this is... interesting to say the least I think any newbie who heard this mix would be pretty confused and terrified of Lana after this (esp after Scarface) -
I actually used to mishear this lyric as well as "Were making robberies, do you wander to the shore, dum dum? Wander to the shore, dum dum" Apparently its "We're making robberies from Tijuana to the Shore dum dum, 'Juana to the shore, dum dum"

I thought it would be fun to share how everyone ranked the tracks from LDRs albums from when you first heard them compared to how you do now! I was thinking about it yesterday and thought it was really interesting how my taste has changed over the years, and how some of the songs I used to dislike I now love and vice versa. Feel free to share your rankings from as many LDR albums as you wish! First, here's my overall current album ranking to see how this may play into my track rankings: UV > AKA > LFL > NFR > S > BTD > HM > P Born to Die There’s some shuffling around here, but it feels like they’ve switched up even more than they have… I feel like the main reason for this though is that I don’t have the desire to intentionally listen to the majority of these songs anymore. If they come on shuffle, sure I’ll jam out, but I rarely purposefully search for these songs to play with the exception of the top 5. Back in the day, this album was all I listened to! It’s all I wanted to hear. BTDPE is still my most played album of all time across all artists, so I probably overplayed some of the tracks. I still have so much love for the album and its tracks, it’s just not as new & shiny to me as it was 8 years ago lol Now: Then: Paradise This is probably the most dramatic difference of them all. It’s a whole 180. My initial least favourite track ended up being my favourite! (That sort of happened on purpose too – I really wanted to like the song, so I made it a mission to listen to it more and try to appreciate it, and I ended up just falling absolutely in love with it when I used to just always skip it. I think watching live performances of it helped a lot too. Now it’s my 5th favourite released song across her whole discography.) Now: Then: Ultraviolence There are definitely some changes, but I feel like for my overall track appreciation it’s the opposite of what I described for Born to Die – a lot of these songs were such growers for me. It took me a few listens to really appreciate some of these songs, and Ultraviolence ended up becoming my favourite Lana album. I rarely skip any of these tracks now, except for maybe the last 2. Now: Then: Honeymoon This is probably the least drastic difference. Only a couple jumps here, but it pretty much stays the same for the most part with some minor order switches. I feel like the reason for this is because of all her albums, this is the one I’ve listened to the least over the years (even with NFR in the mix), so I mostly feel the same way about the songs in terms of what I prefer over the other now as I did then. Now: Then: Lust for Life I feel like these tracks switched around quite a bit, except for my top 2 which have always stayed the same. A lot of these were growers. I really love all of these songs so much still – the only ones I ever really tend to skip are the last 3. This album still sounds so new & shiny to me, so I feel like that’s a reason why some of my tracks have bounced around a bit – just constantly having new appreciation for the songs. Now: Then: Norman Fucking Rockwell This is another one where the differences aren’t too drastic as the album hasn’t been out for very long, but there’s still some switches here and there. I’ll be interested to see what changes after a few years. Now: Then: AKA Lizzy Grant This one has some pretty big differences. I see the album in such a different way than I did back when I first was listening to it in 2012. Maybe I tired out some songs which is why the difference is so great, but I think it’s just mostly because my taste has changed. I used to love the more upbeat songs from this album, but now I really love the moody & dark ones, with my top 2 having stayed the same over the years. I still love the entirety of this album so much and always have. AKA is my second favourite Lana album that comes pretty neck & neck with Ultraviolence. Now: Then: Sirens This is another one with good differences, yet this is only the 2nd album where my least favourite track has stayed the same over the years. It never did stick with me as much as the others. It’s only as of the past 2 years that I’ve been gaining more appreciation for it. Sirens took me awhile to get into at the start, but I adore this album so much. It truly has some of her best songwriting of her discography and the messages are so deep and meaningful. When I was first listening to this album at the start of 2013, it took me some time to figure out which songs I preferred over the others as they all have that similar acoustic sound, but I’m so certain about my current rank. Once I became more interested in songwriting in 2014, I grew such a great appreciation that I still have for this album and its tracks. I’d love to see her rework some of these tracks one day with her current LDR style. Now: Then:

Lust For Life - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Elle replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
I remember when it was released, I felt sort of let down. It didn't seem like Lana to me, and it left me feeling sort of worried about the album. (Then when LFL-song was released, I was convinced I was going to hate the album... thank god the album ended up being filled with so many gems I love and is overall one of my favourites and the first two singles just ended up being my bottom two) I don't know, the song never connected with me. To me, it just wasn't special enough - it seemed like one of those generic pop songs that any artist could have sung. It just didn't say "Lana" to me, and that's what I love most about Lana - she's so unique and different from other artists out there. I also think I have a bad memory tied to it (and as I said, this album is full of happy memories, so this one sticks out) I remember going out shopping at the mall, going to the Cheesecake Factory, finally arriving home, and the very second I walk through the door... I see a call from Ed Millett, Lana's manager. (He had emailed me asking for my number a little after I became LB's new owner to have it just in case.) I was pretty terrified and had also just arrived home, so I let it go to voicemail. I quickly ran to my computer to check LanaBoards, and discovered Love leaked. I listened to Ed's voicemail, and he pretty much just told me to call him, so I did... that was one of the most terrifying conversations I have ever had in my whole life! At first, he was very angry, sort of accusing me about not caring about Lana's art and supporting the leak and all, but I was able to assure him that was not the case at all and that I've never supported albums/songs intended for release leaking. I told him I wasn't even aware of the leak until he called me since I had been out all day. I was able to explain that that's not what LanaBoards is all about and that it's a place for fans to discuss their love for Lana - not to leak material set for release! Anyway, we had a very long conversation about how to do damage control on both of our ends, but yeah, it was pretty intense talking to Lana's manager. That's also why I crack down super hard on you guys for requesting/sharing leaks of content set for release. Scared me straight into ultra-principal mode lol x -

This is still one of my favourite albums and I listen to it all the time. I know it seems to be the common least favourite among fans, but I've always adored this album. I think my love largely comes from the fact this album was released during the best year of my life, so it sort of served as a sound track for it & listening to it always fills me of the memories of happier times. Here's my ranking: 1. Cherry 2. Tomorrow Never Came 3. Heroin 4. When the World Was at War We Just Kept Dancing 5. 13 Beaches 6. Change 7. Summer Bummer 8. God Bless America - and All The Beautiful Women in It 9. Groupie Love 10. In My Feelings 11. Get Free 12. White Mustang 13. Coachella - Woodstock in my Mind 14. Beautiful People Beautiful Problems 15. Lust for Life 16. Love I really love all of these songs so much - the only ones I have a tendency to skip are the last 3 x (if the Lust for Life demo was the one included on the album, it would've been either my #4 or #5 spot) Here's also what my ranking was the album first came out, it's changed up quite a bit over the past 2 1/2 years, except for the first 2 which have always stayed the same:
