Earlier today, Lana was shown apparently filming something, captured by her brother Charlie on his now-deleted instagram story. Their friend Crag Stark also helped with the filming. It appears that this could possibly be for a music video.

Nikki Lane is a 36 year old Country/Blues artist from Greenville, South Carolina and is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. She has three full-length records, Walk of Shame (2011), All or Nothin' (2014), and Highway Queen (2017). Her second album was produced by none other than Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, who also worked on Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence in 2014. Additionally, she has released an EP Gone, Gone, Gone (2011). She opened for Lana Del Rey for a few dates on her NFR Tour during the Midwest Leg and also joined Lana on stage for a duet of her song "Look Away" from her debut record. I'm not exactly sure how this festival is laid out, but most festivals have two headliners going on at the same time opposite of each other each night so guests can pick the one they rather go to, so fans will be split between Lana & GnR. I'm sure Lana is especially bummed about this though, I bet she would've loved to catch their show! x

I just reorganized my Unreleased collection and was listening to some songs I hadn't heard in a while so I could place them in a track-listing and WHEW I forgot how much this song slaps. This used to be one of my favourite LDR songs in 2013, I remember singing it to myself all the time and just randomly shouting about "It's a match made in heaven, if they're gonna talk, let 'em!" for no reason lol. This song gets a lot of flack which I get because it's sort of ~out there~ for her, but it's a bop forreal. I'm happy I stumbled upon it again, I've had it on repeat for like an hour lol x

Been thinking about the tour announcement a lot and wanted to say two things - This is a good sign that the album will come soon, as it makes sense to have it drop before the first leg of tour (she said they'll be more legs) so we could be looking at a February/March release, maybe even January. On a more negative side, I am quite shocked at the VIP package. The fact that the top tier is €310 and offers only a group photo and a chance for only one person to win a dance battle is sort of insane. When I saw her last year in Atlanta, the VIP package for a one on one meet was less than over half of that - about €110. & of all the concert meet & greets I've participated in, Dua's was the most meaningful by far. Maybe I'm biased because she recognised me without me having to say anything, but it seemed like everyone had at least 2 full minutes to speak with her, rather than just a quick hi & photo op. & of course not only did you get one professional photo from her photographer Pixie, but you also got a physical polaroid photo as well, so two poses. I know she's become hugely successful and well known, but to go from very personal M&Gs to a group scenario where it's unlikely for any meaningful one on one time is very surprising to me. I understand it's probably a way for her to meet more fans overall as they're in groups, as last year's package was limited to only 30 slots if I remember correctly.. but it's sort of a quality/quantity issue, especially for that price. I am proud of her for performing in some large arenas though - the venue I saw her in last year was a 3,600 cap and then the year before that it was a small 500 bar-type venue. I'm so happy for her success, but boy am I glad I became a fan early on! I've had three, all very meaningful meets with Dua, and it sort of seems rare that it will happen again now after seeing her VIP package for this leg x
