GUYS has anyone else seen London Hyde park pop up on the tour dates or am I hallucinating???

It must’ve been to do with the fact that it was mainly a melodic sample with lots of added production, much like how the AK sample in Fishtail is some of its elements but not it’s leading instrumental (though the fishtail sample is a lot less noticeable). The SYML instrumental is a copy and paste so the feature is a bit more obvious there.

So I've got my HMV and amazon ones and they're both soooooo cute. I actually quite like the transparency of the amazon one (side by side it's a lot more transparent than the UV UO one), it is just very different to the mockup. The HMV one is incredible, though I put this mostly down to shock because I had a huge hunch it would turn out to just be ANOTHER red vinyl. I have to agree with whoever said it earlier... the surface noise on these is LOUD (especially the Amazon). I thought it could be my player so put a few other Lana records on and they seem a lot quieter. Also is it me or do the records not have distinct spines? Like it's just half the black from the front cover with the title then half the white from the back cover?

Is is just coincidence that every US city mentioned in Paris, Texas is named after a European city?

I'm like 90% sure it's a local release as iTunes still says 24th... COCC was the only global release and its release date on iTunes was 21st March (when it released on the 19th midnight EST). If it was coming at midnight EST iTunes would have to change the date to the 26th so that it isn't released 'early' in other timezones.

VFR is one of my absolute favourites on BB, as well as BBS, the title track and thunder. I don’t get what’s so offensive about it to some people? I get that it sounds a bit flat at first but the emotion comes out of it the more you let it grow. It definitely took a while to get to the top of my list but now it’s there I don’t see it going anywhere!! My favourite part is definitely the ‘ah ah’ on the last chorus, the way it’s mixed into the background as if she’s screaming it from the other side of a door or something (or with a mask on)

I feel like we can't expect initial acclaim to this album. To critics reviewing after one listen there's a huge chunk of the album (interludes, Kintsugi, Fingertips) that is just so inaccessible to a casual listener. I feel like if she really wanted NFR level acclaim she would've just took these off the album and released K/F as a double single, the rest of the album would've still been as long as her others.

I couldn't see her bothering to come all the way to the UK until June - hopefully she'll record a live lounge while she's here for Glastonbury and do a show us actual fans can get tickets to

That would be amazing! I wonder if this is what she meant in the interview when she said about declining the last 3 years of Glasto because they didn't have a 'full band' (though I didn't overly understand what she meant here because there's only been 1 Glastonbury since she was last on the lineup)
