It’s hard for me to digest this album: endless SUMMER vacation, as I stand here on the train platform in torrential rain. This album should’ve definitely been released later in the year. I can think of another album that would match this environment a lot better…

I think that just because a song is ‘hottest record’ doesn’t mean it’s been ‘sent to radio’. I don’t think Chemtrails ever made it to the BBC1 ‘playlist’ but it premiered on there as well. I think the last song of Lana’s to get on BBC1 playlist was DT and that was after release once it gained some traction

The 2 hours is just how long the DJs slot is... the hottest record section is just a small chunk of it. They normally play the song and then sometimes have an interview, then play the song again.

Yep exactly, it'll actually have been a month exactly on the date of the radio show

I'm sure it has to be new to count as hottest record... plus A&W has already charted in the UK so it wouldn't make sense

Yeah if I'm correct. I think she's done the same think on Apple Music radio a few times as well, but can't remember which songs for which radio

The song normally drops at the same time it premieres on the radio. I think it was this way for MAC/VB (I can't remember which was hottest record) and COCC

Yes yes yes!! I don't think hottest record is ever a song that's already out, so I'm 90% sure it'll be a new song + an interview (hopefully better than 2021s )

I’m so unsure as well. I’ve just looked at the mock-ups again and it seems the tits one shares a combination of the standard and white. The gatefold, back cover and one sleeve seems the same as the white. The other sleeve seems the same as the black (and it’s shown to be black vinyl). But on the same post she posted the track list which matches the standard. So it’s really confusing. I’m holding out hope bc she said box set but it’s getting close to release

I reckon they'll do anything to get the physicals out release week. I remember when the BB records were delayed, mine were dispatched separately and they both didn't even make release week.

What do you reckon our chances are of the standard/retail vinyl covers having a matte finish like the UV records. I feel like the B&W covers would really suit it

This is what I mean - I can understand doing a festival that your fans could easily buy tickets to but I really hope her one appearance after cancelling 2020 isn’t a festival none of us can go to Regardless of Lana Glastonbury is an amazing festival and definitely worth it, so your money would be well spent if you’re lucky in resale!!

In general the way Glastonbury format their lineups is a bit weird (alphabetical minus pyramid headliners). But yeah while disrespectful it’s nothing personal they just don’t announce stage splits until nearer the dates. I’m sure she’s half trolling

I'm really hoping her UK stop this time isn't just this festival which is almost impossible to get tickets to/lineup is released WAY after sell out. SURELY we need a headline show after 2020s cancellation mess

If it's anything like her last UK headline slot it'll be advertised as 90 mins but she'll come on 30 mins late and do an hour
