Honestly at this point if she releases NFR and MAC, VB and Hope are part of the tracklist I'm gonna be so pissed. I don't care how good they are (Hope can't relate tbh) because they're almost one year old and I'm tired of them already. Imagine she taking months to release an album we've already listened to four tracks in full and almost two whole minutes of another three? This album was doomed from the start.

Ok Dark Balled is amazing, both song and video. It's very different from what she has been serving since Hard Candy and I dig the whole concept, the video is also one of her best. This single made me revisit the songs she already released and I'm starting to like them more, but I can't stand Future. The fact she released the beautiful Dark Ballet with Mikky but also released a song with fucking Quavo doesn't make sense. Also, if Dark Ballet had been the first single, followed by Crave and then Medellin I think the whole thing would've made more sense. But I think the album as a whole will be a good pop album, but not a good Madonna album if that makes sense? There's little to no Madonna in the songs she released until now, and that makes me sad.

Clarity is good but too short. I think the song had potential to grow into something way bigger and boppier. It sounds more like an interlude to me, but a good one. All I Do Is Cry > Got My Number > Sweet Spot > Broken > Do Me > Clarity > Blow It All

I really had hopes that Madame X would be her return to form but apparently that's not the case. It's sad to think that Madonna didn't release one GREAT album this decade, they're all regular ~ ok

The thing is: people who listen to Lana Del Rey like to give off a cool image, especially people who are not really her fans but "pretend" to like her music to come off as a hipster, indie, cool kind of person. It's the truth, the majority of people who listen to her are like that and if you don't believe me just see a picture of the crowd at her concerts. And now Lana is... just not cool. She's not that bad girl who parties at Chateu Mormont with tons of older men, goes to fashion shows wearing all leather and sings about being in the land of gods and monsters. Right now she's just a white female who goes to the church, parties with her other white friends, drinks green tea and sings about going to the beach. She's just bland. Compare her to Britney Spears, for example: on instagram, Britney posts videos of her working out, pictures of her children's doodles, doodles SHE paints herself and those motivation images grannys find on google. But her audience knows she's like that and her audience kinda connects with her that way. Lana, on the other hand, appeals to a very hip cool young crowd and recently she's just not it. If "real" fans are already dropping her imagine how casual fans must feel lol. I promise this is the first and last long post I make on this thread don't wanna get too invested like some of y'all.
