  1. I wish Interscope would just throw money where it needs to be thrown so Lana can get more awards..... :sadcore:

A lot of the time no matter how good the song is, it depends on the success of the movie its associated with. I thought for sure that the Jay-Z powered "The Great Gatsby" would wipe the floor with everyone else in terms of awards. :byeh8rs2:

When I read that Lana was nominated for "Young and Beautiful" at the World Soundtrack awards, I thought "OH YES I WAS RIGHT SHE SHALL CONQUER!!"

    But who wins?

ADELE for STUPID SKYFALL ....... :willcut:

Like Adele needs any more recognition for her music, I mean come on. What a rip-off.

Interscope out artist'd by XL Recordings

    bye. :runs:

  2. I would die to see her work in a short ULTRA VIOLENT movie with M.I.A. Seriously 2 of the best visual artists out there and as a bonus the songs from 2 of the best songwriters. Damn give me M.I.A, Lana and ultraviolence together GOD please.  If is not asking too much GOD and you can squeeze Tarantino as the Exec. Producer my life would be complete.

    yessss! This

this is her cinematography magnum opus the ultraviolence is yet ot come. Lana will end up being a director and a brilliant one.

    M.I.A and Lana together......? tina2.gif

  3. Started listening to her unreleased stuff again last week. I pretty much forgot about her

While you were sleeping, baby it's you, feels Like Rain etc :flutter:

I see your game is to torture me :sadcore:

  4. I could upload them but it would take forever :whitney:

 If you could perhaps pick the ones you deem to be the best.........we can be friends forever.... :awkney:

  5. So after finally realizing the mistakes i've been making in the universe by not having ALL the unreleased Lana songs, I discovered the new master post site on tumblr thanks to a member on the boards, can't remember their name, .... :madge:

I have now discovered there are way more Kesha songs that i've been missing out on....I am ashamed :sadcore:

is there a master post somewhere out there for Kesha? I have been hearing there are a TON of songs

  6. I dont get it either.

    Well............ to be honest.....:smokes3: .....

With Katy Perry already being as big as she is WITH Bonnie's songs.... Bonnie is going to be fighting an uphill battle to separate herself from her own songs (if that makes sense)

She has to pull a drastic move, or something.

  7. In terms of released songs, the song that grew on me is definitely Diet Mountain Dew. Wasn't sure at first, then found myself listening to it all the time.

In terms of unreleased songs, I used to hate Ridin'(feat. A$AP Rocky).....but too be honest......im havin a few drinks right now completely gettin' it to this song.

  8. I would be less surprised if you said you plain didn't like it, but you've never even listened to it all the way through? Wow.

In my defense, it has to be the only song I haven't been able to just stick through with. Once I get to the chorus i've got all the dose of Burning Desire I need.

  10. I really don't mean to sound rude, but what exactly is there to determine at all? So little, almost nothing, is know about the songs and their respective production information. We can't determine anything.

I don't know what you're referring to as a "composition" here but sticking to its musicological definition I couldn't but disagree with that statement.

....this was my reply to everyone assigning songs to a record based on what they "sound like."

and composition was the wrong word choice on my part, but think about this, ever think about the "ah-ah-ah-ah's" in Angels Forever would sound like if they were sped up?
