also she definitely said “rock show” because she has a live band with her. having seen this tour, the songs have a much more rock/live band feel than pop since there’s heavy drums, and guitars. obv she’s a pop star but her songs live don’t have as much synths and more pop-y elements to them

PTP (and to a much lesser extent VFT) absolutely have rock-elements. PTP is def a form of pop/rock. tbh i’d say her only song that is the closest to rock is Bubblegum Bitch, and even that is still pop/rock (that’s a huge reason why i love it so much)

i saw the Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land tour recently and it was so good! Marina literally sounds so good live it’s insane, almost better than studio! It was super awesome hearing some older cuts, like Are You Satisfied and Teen Idle and whoever complained about Marina not doing costume changes or whatever that shit ass comment was, she 100% did not need it for this tour. Her outfit at my show was so cute, and it would have ruined the almost intimate feeling of the show (i know it was a big venue but somehow it sill felt intimate)

the way after 2+ years, i’m still not sick of Levitating. After hearing it everywhere, that (god awful) remix with that shithead, and all the TikTok fame, Levitating STILL has that longevity. i never get tired of it, and if anything it always hypes me the fuck up Dua really made the Song Of The Decade and Album Of The Decade
