Lana > than anybody, though Marina has more than few very good songs, I place her 20th on my list of all time musicians, Lana fandom should value her. Maybe Larina wouldn't be something, or in anyone's plans, but they could do some Christmas song, I see on other thread such suggestions for Lana.

No need to make this be judgement day verdict about UV album. As my memory serves me, she was announcing the UV as it is elevator music project, and it turned out to be album almost in rank with BTD, aside from sales....and Lana is not about counting sold albums, I believe she leaks songs for fans even. So just those 3 videos out of it are great, and no matter how much I'd like for every song a video, it's music that counts, less she focuses on videos, more good music will be later on. Some fan made vids are very nice too, watch those and have fun. Her cancellations and touring, I don't much follow it all, health reasons, they say,... if she gets better, may she sing in Serbia here, when she bypassed us with Paradise tour, thought we were hell, now if after this hellish title album she doesn't, there's no point in living. And It seems to me now, worshiping Lana was just for her 'glory days', after UV lesser is number of those with her image avatars, and some even get here to hit on her, don't value enough what we have, yet.

Ass is there too... Anyhow, I knew there were songs I missed out on, can't notice'm all in few hours time browsing. I am no profanity expert, to me those bolded sound as so, maybe even word crazy in some cases, should be counted in.

I don't want to spoil high hopes, it's just some go too far on this boards in expectations, that they can influence music art work of Lana, and now even of other musicians, maybe if you're someone's agent or something. Weird Al is known to make fun of certain musicians that are 'nuisances', when he felt under criticism for that, he just explained he honors them on that way too, maybe polkas aren't as his parody songs, but anyway he did Lady Gaga polka, so that's no place for Lana.

As for those mentioned in recent posts, Kinda Outta Luck, Angles Forever, Pretty When You Cry certainly are songs of higher value, for me. Off To The Races, Diet Mountain Dew, Lucky Ones, are BTD songs that should stick around to more populars there. I'd better rate too Gramma, Hit And Run, TV In Black & White, Paradise, Kill Kill, Puppy Love/MM.

She's an introvert, paradise, dark themes, spooks people, preferes Pepsi, The Doors, likes even Metallica, metal, was in a cult, has green eyes, brown hair, had tough life, philosophical, sports type, isn't liked for her (rich) father, loving person, but as she would kill someone. And I am sure there is more, just can't remember everything now. And those are only stuff that relate to me, 'knowing' her for just 3 years, still it's her music that speaks to me primarly, and overwhelms me. This is good thread, having interest in someone has 3 podiums, as I see it, about Lana it's her music that found way to my mind, relating is about soul, and to heart is all that what makes me love her. Maybe there should be a thread, 'how don't you relate to her', too. For me, it's that she didn't watch TV, as growing up...but perhaps that could be reason to love her more, it's so opposite from me.

I have to find something positive about the video - Clockwork Orange fans, actually get to see an orange. And, feels like Lana is my bride, while watching it. Though, on her real wedding day, after this video, it'll be low turnout.

Lana must have been mermaid before she got famous, she is so natural in the water, and her voice here sounds as siren's, luring with a beautiful song...Great video, love the walk.

Lana is clearly someone who had difficult personal life, but blessed to make beautiful music, I think it's brave of her to sing about death, suicide, afterlife. This new album was announced as dark, so she probably decided to open up about such things. She had her love ones die, and even likes musicans who died at 27, it sounds to me more like something that had to come up to talk about, not that she went crazy and threathens to end her life, as some interpret..., as she is asking us to keep our fingers crossed that she makes it alive, until July. I am surprised about number of those who would send her to psychiatrist, even try to diagnoze her based on interviews, I see Lana as fully functional girl, who smiles when happy,... sometimes tired of it all, but has deep insight in philosophical and psychological matters, also she is cathlolic and doesn't send out messages about selfharm, provoking isn't her thing, as the journalist thought, she said already her music is art, and some artists do live mentally on the edge, and want fans to join her for a moment in her rich inner world, which introverts are known to have, and dying thoughts are often part of it. I find it good that she gives me sense as being in Twilight Zone sometimes, I understand some get away from that, but they shouldn't. I will just embrace everything she says.

I had these days 2 friends, not Lana's fans, bringing up this subject. She didn't commit any crime, nor offended anyone. If she decided it's for her own benefit, it's fine with me. Maybe, Lana is testing us, asking, "Will you still love me, when I am singing at Kardashian wedding?" So, those who find this a reason not to like her anymore, are not worthy anyhow.

I favor Lana blowing bubbles, throughout Gods And Monsters, although Body Electric and Bel Air are beautiful, bubbles from her in midst of all that is somehow wonderful.

I think, somewhat, covers suite more musicians that don't believe in their own songs, I didn't read why she chose to do covers, but if she finds it important, I'll be glad to listen to it in future too...and if it is songs made long before she was born, like Elvis, Blue Velvet, Summer Wine..., then it has some dignity about it. Though I'll miss on opportunity to have my suggestion covered, it would be cool if she would chose one of these topic suggestions...just I rather hear her cover songs she likes personally.

Name of this topic says she is well-liked and attractive. I say she isn't enough liked as she deserves, and she is attractive enough not to care if she won't be liked. People that have problems with her popularity and find something bad about her looks, are probably those that find her music irrelevant, and would rather see some supermodel or any other singer instead on top charts. And I didn't notice so far that she puts accent on her good looks, anyone who thinks and says she got her fame that way, is being stupid or mean...as same as those who mention her family money plays major role in her success. She just happened to be blessed psychically, and gifted artistically. Maybe she should to mutilate herself, for next album, so she can check if she would be as well liked, haha? I should firstly say, somehow I found her songs correspond with my emotions, over last few years, and I just clicked with her. Secondly, I always liked songs that have nice melody to it, with intriguing lyrics, and Lana's music has all that. Video Games - I am one of those that heard about her with this song, I knew then she is something new and different Summertime Sadness - that one along with video I listened the most, it's breathtaking Dark Paradise - it's her third song I got to love, powerful chorus Kinda Outta Luck - I dug up this one from her early days, jolly song, and great video Body Electric - '...Jesus is my bestest friend', lol, with such lyrics you got to love this, and this whole Tropico is mind blowing Blue Jeans - 'You fit me better than my favorite sweater', cute and 'I'll will love you till the end of time' strong.
