Lana will most likely change her image at least minimally for the new album. Even Dan Auerbach noted that she crafts each album as a complete project, incorporating the visuals and sound exactly how she wants. And what is this crazy talk about jazz being boring? Maybe Gaga's ridiculously overblown impersonation of a jazz singer, which seems to be the only thing from the genre that some people here know, but not real jazz.

I'm so intrigued by this as well. I'm absolutely in love with how meticulous she is in forming imagery for each era that reflects the music and brings it to life visually. We Lipsters are so geh. I'm thinking long, curly dark blond hair like the Born to Die video or: http://lanadelreyfan.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pid=9373&fullsize=1 She seemed interested in why people respect her more when she has dark hair, so I could see her stubborn self challenging this by going blonde. She'll probably match it with 50s jazz club attire.

I actually think Driving in Cars with Boys is a good idea for what this will be like lyrically...finding love in the darkness. I think it will be a relatively "happy" album by Lana standards, but still bittersweet. I can't wait another year.
