To be fair, LIB being on Honeymoon is a rumour. I recall someone from here talking with Dan Heath on IG but he never confirmed LIB would be on the album, he just said something like "we're trying to release it" and someone took that as a confirmation of it being there. Another thought, are we 100% sure the song is called Life Is Beautiful? That was the name of the video but idk it always bugged me

Oh I get it... but that has to do with the production itself rather than the structure. There's a lot going on in TLY I wouldn't call it minimalist tho Not much I can say since this is a matter of opinion. I think the songs are beautifully crafted and quite different from eachother, although I get that disjointed feeling that you mention during the chorus-bridge transition in TLY for example.

Care to elaborate? Both songs follow the 'basic' song structure intro verse 1 chorus verse 2 chorus bridge chorus outro

I seriously question whoever says this is bland or even bad... production is perfect, melody is gorgeous, the lyrics could be better but I've accepted songwriting isn't really her thing. The ground control part is breathtaking. I guess she said it was jazzy because of the trumpets and I couldn't agree more. Honestly give me two hundred albums with songs like this Upbeat Lana never existed, deal with it xoxo
