it's a piano ballad that the leaker teased w/ some lana-ish qualities to it that earned it that title
-
this whole thread is a damn mess today.
-
nope, rrring was w/ jack ü, same with up n down, 2016
-
albeit the most underwhelming sophie drop i've ever heard
-
Save You is 2013, Not in Love is 2014, Mess would probably be 2011 and Midnight is likely 2012.
-
whoever posted that posted like 4 seconds of the "baby boi" song that dennis teased last year
-
good use of the snippets to fill the spaces, not bad!

Ugly is pretty good, had it stuck in my head for probably a week, shoutout to Allie X for writing that song. her team should probably get around to removing her cringe-y cover videos from when she was 16, like she's not bad but she's got like, a 6 note range and her image change is super drastic, so now that she's doing this, it's probably not the best idea to keep this around.

i'm just gonna say that happened again last night too then
-
god damn, i'm losin' it here thanks for the obvious clarification, i looked last night and i could've sworn it wasn't there
-
am i seeing it correctly that "learn to let go" isn't actually on the album???
-
Save You was recorded a couple months after True Romance was released, so probably not...definitely can't call it a Sucker outtake though.

Close! Midnight was first scrobbled by the label guy who had The Killing Moon in an album called "album demo master" and was then registered to ASCAP a year and a half later, then for some reason, along with many of Charli's songs, unregistered sometime. I'm sure if you go back long enough in this thread, there's a full discussion of writers/producers on it.

boys' highest global chart positions as of rn: #11 in Thailand (iTunes) #86 in Taiwan (Spotify) #29 in Kyrgyzstan (Apple Music) real pop smash we've got here!!!!! #35 in the UK, #108 in the US (iTunes) #131 in US, #154 worldwide (Spotify) #53 in the UK, not on the US top 200 (Apple Music)

we should be thankful it's not dennis, because if it was him, our versions of mess would have siri, alexa and microsoft sam having a threesome on top of it
-
Congrats everyone, the nonsense that's been consuming this thread for the past couple days is now a Pitchfork thinkpiece.
-
i unfollowed her when she worked w/ Dr Luke
-
that's the final version of the song. radio 1 is super conservative w/ lyrics, they censor everything i guess they took the concept of trashing a hotel lobby as some kind of call to violence, so the "house was hit by a tsunami" line made for a "clean version", like how the clean version of break the rules is "rollercoaster till we die" like, yeah, the lyrics are far from profane but they don't leave any room for liability. it's false, and should really be deleted from this thread
-
it's in 320kbps, it just like...sounds kinda lo-fi.
-
hey charli xcx thread, you probably havent done this in a while, but listen to interior today, interior's a great track.
-
aaalright, so, would anyone who argued that boys was the right single to release a few pages ago like to defend their statement?
-
it seems more like the TV track she used for Kimmel, the vocals are down really low???
-
love being proven wrong, bet he'll never post midnight
