  1. Honestly, though, Ocean Blvd did amazing (and still is). Regardless of what happens, I'm so proud of Lana and this album.
  2. So funny seeing Margaret randomly getting her revenge after people called her a flop!
  3. I'm a flop. I love you, Honeymoon, I swear!
  4. We've never actually received a Lana album in September, despite her teasing September release dates before... I wonder if we'll finally get one this year! Edit: Honeymoon wtf. Fake fan!
  5. I get the impression (from Henry snippet) that this album will be more like Chemtrails than any of the others, just more country-leaning, which is fine by me as I love that album. If she's collaborating with any modern country guy I hope it's Zach Bryan (and not MW), but we'll see. More of me loves the title Lasso, it's so compact and symbolic. But there is a part of me that misses the batshit album titles, lolol. I'm so excited now! Exactly this.
  6. I think this could be a massive album for her if she plays her cards right. Country is huge in the US and Lana just keeps growing by the year. If she gets Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Dolly, etc. on it that would only help her, too. Luke Laird and Jack... whew. She's wild. My only hope is that it's an album full of originals. I pray it isn't like, half covers or something. 1-2 covers is fine, but I want true Lana-country-songs.
  7. omg, this spare, minimalist folk/country vibe... lizzy grant is back back!
  8. Wait at her following Kim and not Taylor. I'll only be entertained by this for about an hour, but... Tangy!
  9. This is why we can't take critics seriously when she releases an album. 3/5 reviews only to hit #1 out of hundreds of albums in the same critics' Best of 2023 lists. They're aware of her brilliance, but they never give Lana her flowers immediately. Pure fucking comedy.
  10. she's eatinggggggggg! the album's doing amazing on EOY lists, too. hopefully it snags the top spot somewhere.
  11. I think it just means simpler, modern classic sounding songs. Like Let The Light In, Say Yes to Heaven, etc. Less stream-of-consciousness lyrics about her family and whatnot.
  12. I actually love that Neil photoshoot. It’s so colorful.
  13. The ending part about not having kids yet was interesting. She was slightly hard to follow there, but it sounds like she might be coming around to accepting that she doesn’t feel it’s possible for her because she’s living an artist’s life?
  14. Wow, the production is perfect. Like others have said, her vocals are crystal clear and I love the slight reverb.
  15. It's beautiful. I honestly love Chemtrails Lana, so this sound/vibe hits the spot for me.
  16. That last minute gave me chills... Was not expecting her to cover one of my favorite songs of all time. This has me fantasizing about a '50s doo-wop inspired album, ngl.
  17. Lana was my #1 on Spotify Wrapped (surprise, surprise) and I'm also a ~Top 0.05%~ listener. Sweet made it into my Top 5 songs list along w/ A&W and Tunnel.
  18. does anyone have Ophelia?
  19. Her album is perfect. 10/10. No notes. Deserves way more hype.
  20. She really missed out on capitalizing off of this ethereal rap vibe with a full album. I must have played this song 400+ times over the years.
  21. I'm mainly a vinyl collector. Idk if I've already posted in here. But as of now: Born to Die : Deluxe CD, Red Vinyl Ultraviolence : Target CD, UO Blue/Violet Vinyl, UK Deluxe Vinyl Honeymoon : CD Lust For Life : CD, Coke Bottle Vinyl NFR! : CD, Lime Vinyl, Blue Vinyl Violet : Cream Vinyl, Blue Vinyl Chemtrails : CD w/ Signed Art Card, Translucent + Grey + OG Beige + Beige/White + Yellow w/ OBI + Green + Target Red + Neil Picture Disc + Spotify Picture Disc Vinyl, Beachside Tape Blue Banisters : Translucent White Vinyl, Yellow Vinyl, Target Red Vinyl Ocean Blvd : Target CD, Black + White + Green + Target Red + Titty + Picture Disc Vinyl, Pink + Green + Clear Pink Tapes Other stuff: LDR Lighter, Discography Jacket, Signed LFL Poster, 'Violet' Hardcover Book I'm not a completionist by any means, I don't like the UO NFR vinyl, the Blue Chemtrails, or the Amazon Purple Ocean Blvd, so my collection's a bit of a mess. I need Paradise on vinyl but I've been waiting for a color variant. And a Red Honeymoon Vinyl is my #1 ISO right now, so hopefully it's being reissued in September!
