Does anyone else get slight grunge vibes from Light Shower? That lone, almost sinister sounding guitar is so ... And then it's this love song.

I didn’t buy vinyl when Honeymoon and LFL were released, so I missed out. The earlier ones were gifted or bought over time. Waiting for Paradise + Honeymoon + LFL to be repressed on color, or just better quality pressings. I really want them, but…

IMO
The turn of the mouth = frowning/sorrow/grief on the face
The depth the chest cavity takes = when someone dies, there’s no more breath, the chest cavity becomes concave without air

Maybe I’m loosing my mind but something about the sound mixing/ production seems off?!? I’ve been finding it really heard to listen to this album because of this. Sounds like her voice is buried under the instruments to me. Let the light in seems to be the only song that escapes this?!?
Honestly, this seems to be 100% intentional on Lana's part. She seems to love experimenting with vocal texture and clarity. I doubt we'll ever get an album with crystal clear vocals like Born to Die again, and I think that's how she likes it.

The only song from the leaks I want to hear a finished version of is Needle & Thread. That's a beautiful track. Dragon's Blood just sounds like an early version of Spider Web, and Garden's cute but I see why it got cut.

Same. I'm fully gagged. Powder's on repeat.

The album definitely feels more complete to me now. Super happy with it overall.
(Of course we'll have to wait forever now to get the deluxe on vinyl.)
-
Powder's really good, actually? All the deluxe tracks are good. I think some of you hate just to hate sometimes.
I think it's about her watching a boyfriend or friend lose themselves to drugs (powder).
I'm happy she gave us a few more rock-leaning tracks!

Why is she getting all this promo on the TEEN BEATS playlist of them all?
Also, YouTube gurlie was cute for a while but she's getting a lil extra.

Wow, he actually asked her interesting questions. Lana always says the weirdest shit - I love her mind so much, and her current excitement for music and breaking all the rules of it is contagious.
-
Kintsugi on repeat today for some reason, just woke up craving her...
If Lana were to work with a new producer I'd love for her to try Rostam or Ariel Rechtshaid.

OK, thanks, I just watched it.
It's a real bummer she thinks ppl don't like the last 4 songs. It's simply not true. If she knows her fans she knows they bitch about anything and everything. The whole album is amazing.
