Tbh the more I watch Billie’s reaction to her big win, the more I think she was embarrassed. I actually feel sorry for her. She probably thought everyone was gonna get some wins and have a good time but then she won everything. If I were her, I’d feel like I was annoying and ruining the night by winning so much (I’m not saying she was, it’s just how I’d feel in her position). And with all the stuff coming out about the Grammys being biased right before she wins a bunch of awards must feel crappy. Like I’d probably be wondering for the rest of my life if I really deserved them. Not to mention, it’ll be almost impossible to live up to those awards in the future so they’ve set her up for future disappointment and people will say stuff like “oh she went down hill after her debut, never won again” or something. Like yeah it sounds weird to feel sorry for someone for winning lots of Grammys but who knows how she was handling it mentally. I still think Lana should’ve won AOTY but yeah I feel like it’d be shitty to be Billie right now because the Grammys pretty much set her up to get hated on instead of themselves.

Lana deserved AOTY and Taylor deserved SOTY. I like Billie and I’m not surprised she swept the Grammys but I feel like she didn’t deserve all of those awards this round. But the Grammys loves having that one person who gets a bunch of Grammys, especially if they’re young, even better if it’s their first effort. Like halfway through the Grammys, we realized it. She was gonna win everything because that’s what they do. But the Grammys have always been rigged to an extent (no hate on the winners, it’s not their fault). It still would’ve been nice if Lana got that AOTY though. And I’m a tad annoyed Billie said Ariana should’ve won when she claims NFR is her fave album last year, but its probably all stan politics since Ariana won nothing and her fans are mean. The Grammys were actually good for once last year so my hopes were too high. Next year we at least need more girls with guitars if nothing else.

I just hope the abuse rumours aren’t true. I worry about Lana. Especially with his issues with her fans, I hope he doesn’t blame her for it all and do anything to her. His defensiveness just makes me nervous. I just hope she didn’t get herself into a bad situation again. I truly hope we’re somehow wrong about everything, for Lana’s sake.
