  1. Both Dazed and Fader are running articles about her "two months" and both say they've contacted her people for comment. Imagine how grumpy Ben is rn https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/45013/1/lana-del-rey-says-new-album-norman-rockwell-released-in-two-months%3famp=1
  2. Because nobody wants it on there so we are trying to pretend that it doesn't exist.
  3. As several people have pointed out, it's as if she's trying too hard to cater to her audience, which is mostly teenagers and 20-somethings. Maybe she thinks we all enjoy chaotic, disorganised outdoor shows with Taylor Swift-ish dancers 'n' shit? I'm in my 20s and I definitely don't. I would sell my kidney to attend a nice, calm indoor show like the Apple one.
  4. Oh my God someone put this into iPhone notes and let's plaster it all over Twitter
  5. It's gonna be like the birth time. One day in September or something she'll just randomly tweet, "it's coming out January 14, 2020 fam" with no explanation whatsoever and everyone will be like Sincerely, Things can turn on a dime
  6. Exactly. She said it so that she wouldn't get 4398574395793 "where's NFR?!" questions when she went down to the front row. The fact that she hasn't posted anything since before the show is very suspicious also; she almost always posts something after a show.
  7. I wasn't suggesting that she should design a new stage just for this tour. The stage has looked basically the same for all of her tours. A screen in the middle with palm trees 'n' shit on the sides. The shit on the screen is always the same, too. Yawn. We all know she's capable of doing better, and it's frustrating.
  8. I think it's the shadow from the ring on her finger. Or nicotine gum.
  9. If she actually used your idea, she'd lie and say it was red paint when it was really blood. Or vice-versa. You know it.
  10. I'd be down for her writing it in actual blood, like how Metallica used actual semen and cow's blood for the cover of "Load". That'd be some seriously old-school-sis kind of shit. I'm fucked up, I know that, but Jesus
  11. It's really not an excuse, though. Having a new stage design and/or setlist, for example, has nothing to do with stage fright or hating to perform in front of thousands of people. The only correlation that I can think of is that she hopes people will get bored and won't turn up. Everyone knows that performing live is part of being a recording artist, and she actively sought to be one. Before anyone wades in with the word of the year ("owe") - it's not about owing, although if she were to "owe" anyone anything, it would surely be the people who are giving up their time and money to go see her. And she does the bare minimum with basically everything nowadays, not just live shows. As an aside, she probably would've sold this show out had she released, or even announced, the album beforehand. There are definitely people who didn't bother going because they knew it'd be the same as always.
  12. This article, though. Wasn't even her birthday (well, it might be ... she will probably change that too at some point) https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/music/lana-del-rey-s-birthday-gig-in-malahide-is-playful-one-minute-riotous-the-next-1.3934844 Yeah maybe we should go write some fake ones
  13. The fact that she's been completely silent since the show makes me think more and more that "two months" was just a flippant remark ... if she had an actual date I feel like she would've posted something. I'm a very cautious clown now, though.
  14. Haha. They're not. I think it's just frustrating thinking about what her shows could be like.
  15. I'm going to quote a friend, because I couldn't find any lies in their analysis, so:
  16. I doubt it. This is the song the majority of fans want most of all ... there would be a fucking riot, honestly.
  17. Maybe, but she doesn't finish this tour until late July and presumably she'd want at least a short break after that ... plus the poetry book needs to fit in there somewhere.
  18. There are so many liars in this fanbase ... I thought I had fucking issues but Jesus Christ, the people I've spoken to and the crazy shit they've told me ... So, no. I doubt very much she'd give that information away anyway.
  19. This is why I tend to think she just randomly said that without consulting anyone ... it's the type o' shit she would do. She has "no plan" and it sounded like an afterthought. August 23rd is Taylor's. The week before or after isn't ideal for the same reason. Basically, August is a clusterfuck from Interscope's point-of-view. September? They miss the Grammys deadline. Sis may not care but I bet Interscope does. Considering she has festivals for the next month, and a poetry book she wants to put out before the album, I don't see her releasing it any time in June or July. So I think it's lies and until there's an actual date I don't believe her.
  20. Well, we were all debating the false tracklist and whether or not NFR = HIAB when she gave us the NFR snippet, so ... let's pretend we believe all of it and we might get cover art and a release date. Ahem ... Oh WOW yeah omg legit af
  21. I wasn't there obviously, but I'm somewhat irritated that she didn't use this show to debut the next song from NFR. Like, she announced that the album is coming out in two months ... it would've been the perfect time to sing a new song. I'm sure she thought adding Doin' Time was enough. I love how on Ben's awful livestream everyone is screeching "CINNAMON! CINNAMON! CINNAMON!" and she's just like, "alright, so we're just gonna do Venice Bitch" ... which is what she intended to do even before asking the crowd which song they wanted, I'm sure. Zzzz.
  22. Right, well ... this person certainly wasn't impressed lmao https://twitter.com/patymaguire/with_replies
  23. Things we learnt today: - Sis will release the album in two months* - @@Ben Mawson sucks at livestreaming - Sis can still serve looks when she makes an effort. - Sis changed the lyrics to MAC as a low-key acknowledgement to the fanbase. "I'm fucked up, I know that, but JESUS ... " *The opinion expressed in this comment is that of a flaky bitch and does not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the fanbase Catch a wave and take in the incompleteness
