I don’t think it’s a case of her trying to build a wall of denial that she has gay fans but just her being her usual scatty brained self. Plus I think that she’s still trying to figure out what she believes in (Gurl thinks she’s a centrist but clearly has left wing tendencies) if that makes any sense. She’s clearly not homophobic or racist that’s for sure. Just very unaware of her fanbase... If she was screaming from the rooftops about loving yourself and actively showing support LGBTQ+ rights, some of y’all will say she’s being pandering and doing it to look good. It’s a double edge sword that Lana and other celebs can not ever really handle properly without pissing off someone.

So do I but I think she’s stuck in the world she’s created and it’s holding her back now. As long as Lana always has her melancholy essential core and keeps her ability to tell beautiful, vivid and powerful storytelling in her songs then she should start exploring/creating new worlds. I’d love her to move to Europe and travel for a year or two to gain some new life experiences and learn new cultures. It would do her a world of good.

It ain't no Independent Woman... Its just really meh, nothing special but it'll race up the charts BC of Ariana. I like all three artist but there's no chemistry what so ever and they all seem really awkward around each other to, Lana really did save the track and her little bits in the MV were super cute so that's something at least.

She not only needs a vocal coach but a good therapist to help with her stage anxiety. At this point in her career she should’ve lost some of stage fright but something is holding her back. God her mangers should’ve known and done something from the start but I guess they don’t give a shit....

Considering NFR is one of the best reviewed albums of this year I'll be really surprised if Lana isn't nominated for AOTY. I have no idea if she'll win though...

I kinda feel bad now that I ripped into Lana about her um, questionable poetry as It seems to have helped her massively when it came to her songwriting on NFR.

Sad part is that Taylor has spoken about her fondness for Lana and her music. I just don’t understand the need for certain stan bases to turn everything into an argument/battle between each other. Can’t we just celebrate two female artists making great records...

The only thing LFL ever did well that it forced us realise how much HM is actually a decent record. LFL deserves to put on a stake and to be set alight. I’ve have not brought the actual CD BC I only love about six tracks from it and I only brought the vinyl for my collection. However I’ll be dragging my cute arse as quick as possible to HMV to buy the blue vinyl and there exclusive NFR CD edition on Friday.
