  1. The Lana concert i went to was pretty cool, however it was quite at the start of the Paradise tour and at a quite small venue, so I don't know how many crazy scremo-fans she had back then. People sang along and some screamed but it was appropriate for a concert and not annoying. Noone drowned her out or acted too crazy, even though all the people startet to run like a herd of cows when the doors were opened. However, I imagine Lana-concerts now similar to the Marina concert I went to recently and this was terrible .... people which weren't singing but SCREAMING along, so you could barely hear her at some times ... Oh and prepare to not-see-anything because people are more worried about getting pics/videos on their Iphones/Ipads/Selfiesticks than actually enjoying the concert.
  2. I hope y'all are right and she's telling the truth this one time. But I don't believe it until we have the official release date.
  3. Taste is taste. I think the album version is cheesy and boring
  4. Don't be offended hun :3 I don't think we'll have two covers, even though I'd LOVE to have Do Right as a studio version ... .. and still she plays these songs live. Doesn't mean we'll get them, but it makes it more likely. Nah, it leaked a few days before the official release As long as we only have her words, there is no reason to trust her. Remember Tropico and Ultraviolence. She never announced dates that turned out to be real and she changes her mind so often. She might just cancel videos or do whatever. Not like it would be the first time. SHe decided to cancel the whole UV era after releasing the album, so there is really 0 reason to actually BELIEVE that we'll get some nice promo and stuff. Hope, yes, but it's naive to acutually believe anything until officially confirmed. I really hope we'll get something official soon (a single ), so we'll have something to hold on. Before anything like this happens, we shouldn't get too many hopes up. "you probably wouldnt know the magic of poetry sexiness even if it hit you across the face"
  5. Sorry But I think the chorus is boring/awkward and the rest is meh. The demo, like I said sounds much more interesting because of the instrumental and the vocals which are a little bit more stripped back.
  6. I don#t get why you all are so greedy. In the end, we were never meant to hear these songs and I'd appreciate redone versions of them.
  7. I wonder how many bonus tracks we'll have to catch this time .... Japan/Germany/Whatever exclusive track, Target exclusive, Itunes exclusive ... but in the end, it#s her record and if she decided to do slightly different versions of UATW or SK, there's nothing you could do about it apart from enjoying them or accept that two songs on the tracklist aren't entirely new.
  8. I loved everything she released during her Lunghs era (Lungs, the Deluxe tracks, Between Two Lungs and the B-Sides) and I disliked the Ceremonials record (with the exceptions of What The Water Gave Me, Spectrum and No Light). HBHBHB sounds like it will be better again, however it sounds like it will be a mix of songs I really like and some I don't care for/dislike. What Kind Of Man and How Big How Blue How Beautiful are great songs and judging from the snippets Long & Lost and Queen Of Peace will also be great. Mother and Hiding sound good, but not too spectacular but I guess I'll have to hear them in full, maybe they'll also turn out to be wonderful. Make Up Your Mind sounds a little bit Lungs-esque, which is something I appreciate. Ship To Wreck is pretty solid and nice, however it's not as deep as it pretends to be and tends to be a little bit overdramatic (but maybe i always get this feeling because of this cheesy music video). Still, it has great lyrics and is a good song nevertheless. Various Saints & Storms is one of these songs, where I am not sure if it will be great or boring, but I guess it's also one which you'll have to hear in full lenght. Delliah is nice, but not stunning our extremely outstanding, but it's one of these good-mood-songs. St. Jude is ok, but also not really a song I'm too excited about. I'm not too sure about Which Witch, it has some cool drums but it also sounds very overdone at some parts. Finally Third Eye doesn't really do anything for me, both the snippet and the live performance. The demo sounds like it could be better though, it sounds much more interesting.
  9. I hope we'll get some of these dirty, raw guitar/bass strings like they use them in several live performances lately (Off To The Races or some Blue Jeans performances)
  10. Lol, as if Lana's announcements would mean sh*t. Remember Tropico? Remember Ultraviolence? We probably have it August 2016. I hope for some kind of single or promo soon, as this would really mean we'll get SOMETHING. And why are you all so sure September would mean she'll do promo? She could just go on summer holiday and do nothing, like with UV.
  11. Especially since the comments seem to be based on National Anthem and Without You (where she obviously didn't even get the lyrics right).
  12. Best: Hard choice, the album is just so good. It would either be West Coast or Shades Of Cool in my opinion. Worst: Cruel World. It's super repetetive ain both lyrical and sonical terms. It's like she did a gap text and had different options how to put in the words heroine, party, candy and women. I don't think it's not having a strong vibe or an interesting concept when it come sto the way she sings and the way the instrumental sounds, but I think it's still the weakest song on the record.
  13. I'll never understand how some people need to get their 2secs of attention by claiming bullshit that's so easily proven wrong. But yeah, they said the artwork would be presented next week so we will see how legit they are. At the moment I'm trying hard not to get excited because this Twitter side sounds fake as fuck
  14. Because Hawaiian Glam Metal is not just a sweet nothing and future jazz was do on point for UV ...
  15. But remember, it's Lana we are talking about ... maybe one is for LiB and features a few shots of her singing while the rest of the video is footage from the movie. or maybe one is a real music video and the other one is a trailer which features outtakes. Or maybe one will be released and the other one will be cancelled and/or replaced by a cheap Iphone one ...
  16. The futureretro thing fits the Metropolis-stage. But in the end, she said UV would be "future jazz" ... But this reminds me of when she casually announced West Coast on Twitter. And two videos? Wow
  17. http://lanadelreyfan.com/exclusive-interview-with-cole-stroud-from-lana-del-reys-new-video/ Has everyone seen this? Like, it's nothing too interesting, mainly due to him not being allowed to say much and the questions mostly being extremely boring and useless, but it's something ....
  18. I never said people coulnd't disagree with me. But posting "punch-in-the-face" smileys and saying things like "but you probably wouldnt know the magic of poetry even if it hit you across the face" ... thgis are things that make me angry.
  19. It's not even that I said Katy Perry does better videos or that I dislike Ride. I just think the video is highly overrated. Just because there is a monologue and it's high budget doesn't make it art. Like it or don't like it but I hate those people who feel the need to pose as art-experts and sophisticated. In the end, the Ride video is full of clichees combined with a pretentious monologue which may be personal but is much rather cheesy than "art"
  20. Lol k. So "art" has to be plotless and self centered try-hard poetry ... the monologues are a sad reaching for "art" when the initial video is about her fucking old dudes and making cheesy americana references. But go ahead and feel superior and insult people, that really shows how "intellectual" and "sophisticated" you are ...
