  1. Tulsa Jesus Freak will be the Starstrukk of her career. Nice legs, bible hymn makes a freak go Oooh ooOoh That's the way they stay with Jeez like oooH Oooh oooOH OHhhh I think you should now How To find you way back to my bed again Sell me like a can of gin
  2. If nothing's released this friday I blame it on the chastity-belt-fraction in this thread.
  3. I mean - noone forces you to listen to them, so I don't see how a snippet is a bad thing. Outside of the stanculture it's pretty common to get an impression of something before hyping it
  4. That was a rehearsal video, which she posted like a day before performing it. If a short preview of a song really ruins your excitement, then that's probably not on behalf of the snippet. I get that her posting almost the entirety of Cinnamon Girl and HIAB in LQ snippets was not a good practice, but let's not be overdramatic here.
  5. Let's Not be too nitpicky here. The acapella version of Coachella and the song itself were both released long before the album tracklist was announced or a pre-order was up. At this time, everyone considered it a standalone single. The Summer Bummer snippet was supershort and the song was released as a single anyway. I don't remember a Groupie Love snippet. So the only album-tracks that got teased with snippets were Cherry (which was performed live BEFORE the snippet was posted), White Mustand and Change.
  6. I mean yeah ok but why are some of them on here all the time moaning how much they can't wait for the album and then being mad because others don't put spoilers on information about released content what's the sense in participating on a pre-release thread if you don't consune any news and therefore have nothing to discuss?
  7. There was quite some insights, a lot of information about how the songs sound and a pretty nice portrait of her as an artist. I mean - look at the bs we got for the last Interview-magazine. This was actually interesting and not just a cringefest devoid of infofmation
  8. Yeah, BEFORE it was released. The conversation was about Deluxe-editions released many months later
  9. I think they meant "lazy" as in - she will not "go back" to an album and just record more songs for it. Once she feels the story is told, she will not expand it but move on to the next project. Which is not lazy at all, but kind of "lazy" in terms of commercial strategies that seek to prolongue the lifecycle of a release.
  10. I also love how at the end of HM she sings about being misunderstood and then went on to release a messy, incohorent album guided by second thoughts and impulsive decisions where she literally sings through a piece of paper
  11. Darla "leaked" fake Bartender lyrics (real) during the NFR-pre-release-era and they were kind of ... well. Controversial.
  12. HM and UV had the best album trailers. Too bad for you if you hate anippets, for me it was such a huuuuge hype. LFL trailer was nice but I did not bother to watch it more than once
  13. Usually they come 2 - 3 weeks early. I doubt that reviews will be released with another single still coming though, that way they would waste a full "wave" of attention. Articles about WD at the end of the month and then full album reviews rolling out during early march
  14. Apart from this, it may be short but all the songs have rather good lengths themselves. I HATE short albums when they are like 35min long, yet consist of 17 tracks
  15. I have 0 problems with the collabs on CoCC. Unike L4L and BPBP, which were forcefully re-written to be collabs (and it shows), BUS was a duet from the get-go and I really prefer the For Free version that featured Weyes and Zella. Plus none of those featured artists are as annoying as Spongebob Nicks and the Screechnd. I don't think CoCC is even in the top 3 of her best title tracks so far. It's a nice song but it's just so shallow compared to Born To Die, Honeymoon or Norman F*cking Rockwell. I'm not sure whether I like it more than UV, so it would be myleast favourite title track, not counting the horrendeous Lust For Life with the Weeknds castrato voice.
  16. It's "the same thing" but the word chemtrails stems from the conspiracy theory. The correct non-crazy term is contrail. Lana most likely uses the other word since the song is about all the white-upper-class glam, and this community is pretty conspiracy-theory-prone
  17. I mean ... it's sexy and relies on percussion a lot. But one is a passionate, dramatic haze and the other is an almost jazz-ish slowburner.
  18. I love how her album-promo always affects the fandom. During BtD, all the fans felt cute wearing flowercrowns. For LFL, everyone suddendly turned into a bRujA and babbled about how they would cast good-luck-spells for the birthday of their guinea pig. And now, everyone casually forgot that chemtrails is a conspiracy-theory-slang and that the white stripes in the sky are actually called contrails.
