  1. Gramma is legitimately one of my favorite songs of hers, fight me
  2. It's bad, but the vapidness of selfie driving bothers me more than the safety issues.
  3. This is why she shouldn't let us sit on shit for too long. We start remembering/realizing the shit we resent the most about her.
  4. Twigs scrapped her stuff from 2016. The single from this year is her starting fresh, and she's performed about 4-5 songs from the upcoming album during a recent tour. Her absence from 2016-2019 was largely due to medical issues, as well as extensive training, which she communicated to her fans about.
  5. How do we know that's the actual single cover, and not just an image she used for the announcement?
  6. This era started out decently paced. Like the two singles and this interview had me hyped: https://youtu.be/YCWRjEdpNEQ (mind you, I don't think we had actually seen any of her poetry at this point) And then the Apple performance, and Hope. But then she seemingly dropped everything all at once. Idgi. Is it the Hillsong cult thing? When did she start going there?
  7. I actually think the iPad line is sweet. But I don't really like the "fucking white gown" and "shaking my ass" lines all that much. I think I get the point of them, in that she's saying that she sexualizes herself and parties mindlessly to stave off the dark thoights (I thiiink this is what she's getting at?); but the wording seems especially vulgar with the soft production and otherwise darkly sweet lyricism that it makes it off putting to me. Though that may be the point, idk. I should probably go back and listen again.
  8. Funny, this is the exact same process I went through with LFL as well. Thought she was this clever, kitschy satirist/performance artist, but then realized that she's been being serious this whole time lmao. Probably why I'm personally not tooo hungry for NFR, because my interest in her is more casual these days. Still makes me sad how soured the NFR project has become, because I was obsessed with MAC after it came out and thought HTD was pretty promising. Truthfully, I think she's more or less exposing the real Elizabeth Grant to us and shoving it in our faces because she's sick and tired of the obsessive fan fervor that comes with the enigmatic Lana Del Rey persona. Destroy the mystique, stifle the fascination. Probably not going to work on the crazier stans, but whatever Can't even unironically disagree with this tbh
  9. Eh, I'm still hype for the track. The production sounds cool. But I'm really not understanding what her problem is lately.
