Re, the cover: I'm feeling that feeling I felt when Gaga revealed the BTW cover art. Maybe 8 years from now I'll look at the NFR cover as well with a laugh and just appreciate the camp. I think the track order bothers me more, tbh. But it's not like I know what it all sounds like together yet, so we'll see

I'm fine with/love swearing in general, but I think it works better in some songs than in others. Basically this. Needs more finesse.

I liked the production, too, but the song was already beautiful without it and doesn't need it, imo. If anything, Hope was the song that a needs a little more in its production.

I keep thinking about it, and I'm really sad that HTD probably won't be the stripped-down piano ballad that she performed live.

Well the movie looks like trash. Guess that's why they put more focus on who's singing the song, listing their names out like any other trailer would list the actors' names out.

I was telling myself yesterday that I wasn't that interested anymore about this album, but then while I'm working today, I've got both Hope and HTD playing in my head. And I never noticed just how stunning the Cinnamon* clip is. *Edit: I meant HIAB, but the point still applies

This and Jack Antonoff's thoughts are the kind of things I wonder about the most - the inside-the-industry feelings on the album delay and her weird attitude about it. Like she's not just annoying fans, but she's also messing with other professionals who rely on her.

I'm mostly enjoying the snippet - especially the melody - but I can't get over the manchild line, and describing people as "wild" is one of those old tropes of hers that I'm kind of over at this point. But it's still promising.

I'm gonna be honest: her shitty poetry was the only reason why I went out of my way to find fan sites. Which isn't to say it hasn't gotten a little better, or that she hasn't posted a decent poem or two... but her very early ones were just really bad to me, and all the sycophants on IG, and even on the reddit fan subforum, were talking about how amazing all of it was and how she's such a master with words.I legitimately thought I was going insane. So I scoured the internet trying to find anyone who felt how I did. A very pathetic irony on my part, I know.

Why did she have to go and ruin this album?. Like, what the fuck?
