The Blue Banisters vinyl (and the cds and cassettes) have always been on the site. There just weren't any direct links to it from the front page or the music tab, but they were always visible at the link https://shoplanadelrey.com/products or https://shoplanadelrey.com/collections/blue-banisters-pre-order-collection. Same for the clear COCC, you always could order it from Lana's site if you knew and had a direct link to it And since it will inevitably come up since it always does, the store always says "shipping on (3 days from whenever you're looking at it)" even if the item is sold out. The vinyl saying they will ship in 3 days is not a sign they are restocking, it just always says that for everything

Yeah I think it's pretty clear that she doesn't come from a privileged, wealthy background. But it seems to me like she had a seemingly comfortable, middle class upbringing. That doesn't mean there couldn't have been issues with/fights over money between her parents. Lots of people have decent, stable jobs but are poor at managing their money, overspend, don't save, etc. But it's not like she grew up with one parent who was a grocery store cashier and one a cook at McDonald's. And Lake Placid isn't a really poor town, it has tons of money from wealthy New Yorkers who buy houses there because it's a tourist town/ski resort. The Olympics were even held there. And even if the locals aren't wealthy like people who buy second homes there/move there with money, it's not like that doesn't affect the cost of living for everyone. Her childhood home is valued at $1.2M on Zillow right now and is only one block from the lake. Maybe her parents were house poor and bought too much house though

If you're in the US and ordered from the Canadian store I'd recommend just buying a copy on ebay or Mercari and cancelling the Canadian order. That's what I did. With how much shipping was, it won't make much a difference in total cost. I know it sucks to have to buy from a scalper but I don't trust the Canadian store was going to fulfill my order anytime soon

Surprise, surprise, those exclusive CDs are back on the store. I like Taylor's music but honestly this kind of manufactured FOMO is one of the reasons why so many people can't stand her. I don't know how many times they think they can keep doing this; a lot of people are still annoyed at the exclusive Midnights covers. She really should just put up for sale whatever they're releasing and leave it. I'd expect the alt cover vinyl to show back up on the site after these "72 hours" are over. Also it just occurred to me the reason Sweeter Than Fiction isn't a bonus on the Target edition CD and is just on the vinyl, is because a CD isn't long enough for the 16 original songs, 5 new songs, and Sweeter Than Fiction. I'm guessing the CD is probably like 78 or 79 minutes long so it just isn't physically possible to put it on the Target CD

omg that is the most terrible update! navigating that website was so tricky. my tracking stopped updating after it left customs and it just showed up a few days later. did you already order again? maybe I could order another one and then send it to you once it arrives, since mine arrived without problems. though that would end up making it more expensive from the double shipping i'm still hoping to track down the Russian edition since that store in Toronto told me the publisher said it's sold out

So I found this on ebay Do we think they're fake? While there are definitely a few that were signed "Lana", and even fewer that were signed "Lana Del Rey", what are the chances someone would have been able to get seven copies signed Lana given how few there are?? The vast majority were signed LDR so this seems so unlikely someone could have this

I gave in and bought the CN pic disc from an ebay scalper who already has it in hand, and emailed the Canadian store to cancel my order. It's basically the same total price anyway Idky but I always seem to have issues with the Canadian store. I ended up cancelling my DYK standard cassette from them too Update: Just received my refund. I'm surprised they didn't try and claim it was too late to cancel as it was preparing for shipping or something. Makes me wonder how much longer I would've had to wait

I don't know for certain but I think the first time was about 10k on the US site, and the restock they did around the time it starting shipping was about 2k. I have no idea about the international stores. But on the US store, it originally went up for preorder on April 12th but didn't sell out till May 10th which is just so crazy to me, especially how badly so many people want it now I'm laughing at all the people who skipped it bc they didn't want a black vinyl
