The interview really sucks but this shoot, oh my god. The makeup is bad though, the lip liner looks too heavy and the eye liner looks bad and it's fighting for attention with the hair uggh. The clothes are fantastic. editing again because social awareness doesn't mean sanitizing yourself sweaty. Positive thinking alone isn't going to help women, people of color, the LGBT, etc communities in America. We are angry, for good reason. White girl "can't we just get along" pleas aren't the answer when your government wants to take aware your civil rights, your healthcare, and make it easier for you to be shot in the streets. True "Social awareness" cannot be found on the top of the Hollywood sign.

I wonder if she'll change the tracklist because it leaked? She seems to be doing everything this era to spite leaks and people who think they know what the album is going to be like lol. So I guess it's not surprising that BAR got Black Beauty'd (or worse ) since she seems to have done 1000 different songs for this album anyway.

I just really want to hear Cherry in HQ at this point. We know she doesn't mind making a song in a key or pitch she can't sing live so I'm wondering what the studio version sounds like. 13 Beaches has HBTB follow up potential, so it could be a lil bop, telling the paps to fuck off. It's right at the beginning (supposedly..) so it's probably not some big dramatic statement track.

Children of the Bad Revolution is one of my favs, so a song called Get Free has me on edge. In My Feelings will probably be my most used track "Heroin" RIP. Remember when this was the happy album

Yup. This whole post. Katy and Miley are embarrassing and offensive in more ways than one and it is not a model Lana should be looking at for anything. Not that I think she necessarily is, but it's not impossible that this effort will ring similarly hollow. BAR is great. L4L is cute Love is painfully boring, but it is what it is. Coachella is trash. None of those tracks indicate any real direction though, so I can't even gauge what any of these snippets are pointing towards.

I'm so baffled that "Lana Del Rey Feat. Playboi Carti" is a thing that's going to exist in my itunes

Honestly, that article is exactly how I feel about the song. It's kind of just ridiculous in it's framing and everything I don't want from a "Woke Lana makes fake deep songs about navel gazing at coachella" album. However, I don't want that spread to the public from any news outlet

I'm surprised to hear people connecting to the message, not because I don't believe in it, but because it feels super hollow. "I was at coachella and it was lit and then Trump did some stupid shit that we're lucky didn't escalate and I thought about all these flower crown kids out here and their families, except wait coachella is full of the children of the people who cause incidents like this and that the real pain is outside of the gates of this rich white circle jerk" "Did I mention I was born in the wrong era?" It's not on the album though, so I don't feel particularly annoyed about it's existence anymore.

It only happened once anyway. Lana fans are holding on to some glory days she/we never had. A shitty remix of the 3rd worst song on Born to Die was a hit 5 years ago. Great.

The movie studio or production company probably owns the rights to that song. Not Lana or her label. Which is probably why it is still unreleased. Also it is boring.

That's why the same people are only okay with her collabing with old white guys, pretentious white guys, and ~indie( white) women

This album is tonally all over the place but I think this is a grower. I think it'l become a bop. It's super polished for a Lana title track
