How often do we really get something like that? I will admit having been one of the ones digging around the day UV leaked but I AM REFORMED. They sell Paradise as an LP on its own, so it's considered an album.

The swearing thing too, like girl, we know you aren't 7 years old IRL, it isn't shocking, even as an aesthetic contrast.I do think CB was one of the most interesting mainstream releases of 2015, but I really do believe she can top it.

The version of Love that leaked was from the MV, So even if it was lower quality, it was the final instrumental and production and ALSO meant that someone had the video itself. They had to get out in front of it. That isn't the case here.

Because they've already had to start promoting before they wanted to and don't want to have to push up the release date of the album any further? It's a LQ demo that isn't getting any play outside of the same circles who always leak shit. It's not like Consequence of Sound has posted "New song from Lana del Rey's upcoming album leaks". So they plug a few holes and keep going. Especially if there is a video or announcements attached to the release of the song.

SS didn't become a hit when it leaked, or at release.. so it's not like Love is 100% DOA. Early march and the (hopefully) tail end of the latest pop radio hits isn't a great time for something that could be pitched as a cute spring song. If BAR is the next single, it's not going to do anything on radio unless they boost the production quite a bit, and we all know Lana will be bored and giving vague interviews about the direction of LDR6 by the time a third single should be rolling around. So Love will be carrying the whole album cycle anyway.

I feel like this era has been a decade. CB did not age well t b h I still use some stuff from it but I really hope her writing has improved

I wouldn't call AKA fully acoustic. It's not an overly polished album by any means, but it's also got some pretty obvious computer synthesized stuff on it. Regardless, BTD is a great, grand album, even if UV was better, and I don't really know why there's suddenly such backlash, except for the fact that people seem offended at the idea that "trendy" young women found something relatable about Lana/in her music during that era
