  1. With Lana, it might also be one of the only songs on the album that's not too weird, thematically inappropriate for the mainstream, or not going to land them in hot water "Galaxy baby drives me crazy I blast off like a rocket after we smoke those space rocks, space rocks blue moon, blue moon"
  2. I'm ok with the title, if that is the title but Beautiful and Rich? lmao. Anyway, ideally her inevitable song for the Twin Peaks reboot will be on this album
  3. Lana and Marina together would bring out the worst in both. Lana would sounds comatose and Marina would sound like a dying goat. Who would write it? What would it be about? Their writing styles and aesthetics clash as well. Just because the fanbases overlap doesn't mean it's a good idea. Abel makes douchebag bedroom music, and it's not my dream track or anything but he meshes really well with Lana.
  4. Wait why does this sound so much like Stargirl?
  5. It's not slaying my life but just the fact that she's back is enough rn
  6. Is this..Really happening? I'M SCREAMING
  7. I never knew I would miss all the daddy lines until they all got replaced with some form of "blue"
  8. MTWBT lost me for a second but now it's among my favorites again. Lyrically it's so low key creepy cute
  9. Sometimes I forget forums like this are populated by confused children who pick and choose issues. I wonder what would happen if lana said "baby you're so gaaay looking to whore" ("looking to score-drug reference, if I'm going to reach) "SHE MEANT HAPPY" "DON'T SLUT SHAME"
  10. Did you just deny the existence of systematic racism?
  11. Songs only really become iconic to people when they have music videos. Freak or Art Deco could be up there, should she release a great video
  12. Honestly this album just clicks for me. I think the lyrics aren't "new" per se, but they're a lot different from UV. It's more Paradise. She's taking a lot of influences, using a lot of different sounds and sounding more independent. Usually she writes from an exhibitionist perspective with her men as voyeur. She's "fucking crazy" and they're the glue holding her together. She is in control on this album. All in all I think it's an album that's really more in touch with femininity as a powerful thing "I know what only the girls know" High by the Beach in general, in Freak she tells her man to follow her to California, It's my favorite work of hers as of now and I see why she compares it to BTD. It's more "current", it has beats, sassy Lana is back, it's more playful in general
  13. I feel like I should but I just can't rn. The thing that makes it "racially charged" is that she described someone as ghetto, not a place that is actually a ghetto.
  14. Remember when you were all planning to rob Target en masse?
  15. ugh I want the CD but I want to get the box set and I already ordered the vinyl. Either it's itunes or two physical copies of the CD then
  16. I need that HQ leak She already got my coins twice over (aka PM)
  17. Yeah, if you order it from the official UK store
  18. The instrumental and synth breakdowns during the songs are killing me It's so eclectic I wouldn't say it was a truly European theme tbh. It evokes Little Italy in New York in the 40's
  19. It's 3 days. That's really moving into "y'all can wait" territory
  20. For me, it’s never been about sales this quote is going to get a lot of play here It's still about the sales for interscope
