Ummm isn't that what she's doing? I think for me as a fan was a cute thing to add the death of Cry Baby as a nod to her previous albums + I think her fans actually care? Imo it's like the storyline is moving into a different realm (hence the færie stuff) and it def shows with the visuals and the songs. I guess it was her way to explicitly move on from the Cry Baby stuff. idk

I think K-12 haters more than any other section of the fandom will enjoy this album I'm not a K-12 hater as a whole but rather a some-K-12-tracks hater nnnn

I think the leaks (mostly demos tbf) already can show us a better side to Melanie. She really reinvented herself with this new visual direction and don't even mention the songs, they're much more creative and inspired than K-12 or After School. Ngl this perfilates to be my favourite Melanie album, even over Cry Baby.

Ahhh Borderline was such a nice addition to the album. Can't wait for the other songs! Even if it's just two lol

It's giving Madonna's "Forbidden Love" (both released), Ellie Goulding's "Let It Die" (both released) and Lana's "California" (one released AND one unreleased) I keep each track with its correct title, but as usually they have different albums that doesn't mess them up. In this case, one will be released in the album and the other one I'll have it on the MM3 sessions so problem solved!

ngl I don't think Sirens and Tunnel Vision are 2 tracks into 1. Like, the teaser could combine the two tracks just because of the sake of the announcement, not precisely implying the two songs are in the same track. Yes! + Sirens and Tunnel Vision NEEDED to be together. I actually sketched them as TV track 2 and Sirens track 3 but they are back to back WAIT, what if the teaser indicates the two songs are back to back in the tracklist and Sirens segues into Tunnel Vision - rather than both being a 7 minute song? that's more likely tbh

Fingers Crossed, Needle & Thread and Death at least. Garden, Void and Dragon's Blood also are too good to be scrapped.
